I got it from kidney puncher my first order from them and they was two days to go from Arizona to ohio. Faster than mtbakervapor even lol. But I'm thinking I shouldn't have got the tobeco clone and got the hcigar 3.1
Reading through some of the post. You all have given me some ideas.
I decided to rebuild all my KFL's and drop the resistance down so I could use em on a straight mechanical. Built 2 authentic KFL's. One V1 and a KFL +. Both builds came out to 1 ohm. Problem is with the KFL +. My RY4 just tastes off. Rebuilt it last night and got a 1.4 ohm. Same results. Put it up out of frustration. Got up this morning and put in on my Evic. 7 watts at 3.13 volts. Taste just fine. Turned the voltage up to 3.8 and flavor went south.
Seeing all the comments about drip tips. I may just have to try that. I've got around a 1mm gap over the air hole. I really don't want to have to drain and rebuild it again. Time will tell.

What size coils are you using? I've found that I had to go larger diameter coils when using the kf on a mechanical. I'm also on building at 1.0 ohm using 5/64 drill bit and works great.

Your one ohm KFL on a Mech would have resulted in a 16+ watt config. The Kayfun has been unofficially said to perform well upto around 15 watts, that too if everything with the wick/coil combo is setup perfectly. In it's stock config, I don't think it has the capability to perform well in that configuration. Folks have widened their juice intake slots and or air intake in order to boost performance.
Nothing wrong with that. As long as it works for you.I feel like such a wimp with my KFL @ 1.5Ω & 3.2V. Only 6.8 Watts.....
Thanks Dusty. I'll try stepping it back up. Come to think of it. It was perfect before I dropped the resistance.
Oh yea. I'm using a 2mm ID coil with sterile cotton.

What gauge is your wire? 16 watts with 30ga wire is a lot hotter than 16 watts with 28ga. I use 28ga Kanthal at 1 ohm, about 1.8mm ID and it works great.
Ok finale results. 30 guage with 8 wrraps with a 2mm ID. Sterile
Cotton at 2 ohms. 70PG/30VG. WHOOPIE. I got my flavor back. Got it on a hades clone. I'm a happy vapor again

Just a bit confused as to why my P38 WTA is great at 1ohm but the RY4 WTA needs the higher resistance.
But anyone that knows me already knows I stay in a constant state of confusion.

Thought I would share some photos of the Kayfun Lite on Black Provari Mini with Different Drip tips and with and w/o a tank ring.
I may get a clone and widened the juice channels as well as the base/centerpin airhole to 2mm and see what I can get out of it.
Just get a Rose v2 can easily vape 20+ watts no problem, 4 juice channels with juice control and 2mm air hole.

I bought a GP heron for $190 n I thought that was high. But GP products are high quality stuff so I under stood the high price tag. I ended up selling the heron when I found out that it's being redesigned with a afc slot for more airy draws for lung inhalers like me. Been waiting to pick it up again when it becomes available so if the rose is quality stuff then why not ... It's at least made out of 316 ss. I just don't see much talk on it.

Lol that's cause most people don't want to spend $200 on an atomizer much less $100 a lot of people buy clones of the kayfuns too.
As far as aesthetics I like the kayfuns a lot better since you can customize it and even go nano mode, but the vape quality the rose produces is by far way superior. Never floods and never get dry hits can handle ultra high wattages
Just watched the build video. Not sure I'm fan of it. You gotta slot the leads through the ceramic cup, and align and slot the leads through these 2 metal holes at the base. Knowing my stubby clumsy fingers I could never do it.
