bronze have you built the duals yet?

As a matter of fact, yes I did. Took me awhile to get all four legs secured (PITA) but I did it. I vaped on it for awhile using my mech. I agree with you, the 32 gauge twisted heated up quicker than when I used 28 gauge single strand...and by quite a bit. I vaped on it for awhile but found it to be too warm for me so I went back to my standard 30 ga single coil. I'm just not a warm vaper. But I'm glad I tried it. I may try 32 gauge twisted single coil. Here is my dual coil. 32 ga twisted,10 wrap ea., 1.65mm ID, 0.9 ohms. I tightened those loose end wraps on the one coil after seeing them on this photo. Thanks for the help Diver.

That's the thing, sometimes I just forget how warm things are because I'm just so used to it. Actually for me, that's a fairly cool vape compared to some of my others. I did do a build the other day that really was warm and didn't like it what so ever. It was on my fogger, twisted 28g, 2mm coil, 4 spaced out wraps dua coil build. This came in lower then I wanted at .2 ohms which wasn't pleasant at all. Besides to hot, the vapor production and flavor just wasn't there. For me I stop under .4 ohms, anything lower is not for me. Thanks bronze

I find those who like cool vapes (such as myself) are really sensitive to temperature. To me, more heat equals less flavor. I often wondered if people mistake heat for flavor. Just seems the flavor is brighter at cooler temps. But as in everything vape related...it depends on each individual. I cannot imagine going 0.2 - 0.4 ohms.

But. But. A warm vape with a nice dessert juice...?

OM nom nom nom nom.

Also after seeing you 2's comments on twisted wires heating up faster, I'm gonna try again with some dual and some triple twisted 32. I must have been ......ed before.

Oh Gawd! Glad those Genny days are over for me.

Funny. I just bought a new genny! Just a simple RSST. Had a kraken as my first genny, and sucked ape crap at building it with mesh.

But I think there has to be a reason why so many folks still swear by em. So... It's gonna be another month trying to learn how to fix hot spots and all that jazz. Grinn

Hahahaha to find out who they are, go into the rebuildables section and post a thread with an obnoxious title bashing gennies. Something along the lines of "gennies are stupid and DEEEAAAD".

You'll be buried under a mountain of flames + some constructive feedback.

Them. Those are the genny diehards :p

Ok look. We are trying to get a market survey, not start world war 3. :p

I don't even dare to share on ECF that I'm using my provari anymore. It's usually just "oh just a kayfun and a regulated mod that works well for me"

Memories for sure. I know you know how many times I have done that same exact set up. I still have one ac9 set up like that and love it. For me, the only reason I don't vape gennys that much anymore is the juice darkening issue. I think now people have maybe found ways around it, but because im doing the bottom coul tanks now I haven't fooled around with it . Besides that, a genny with mesh, porous ceramic, or cable is a better all around vape imo. Are you able to vape a whole tank without any of the juice darkening? Good stuff dw!
