Whew..... Glad the issue is finally settled and I can now re-wick with no guilt.......:D

I totally agree. When I first started building my Kayfun about a month or so ago I was getting burnt taste. I was going by "don't use too much cotton" and "less is more" I wish I knew that from the start. I was also trying to be fancy with it and perfect how the cotton landed on the deck. What a big waste of time. Now I just put the cotton in, make sure it moves slightly between the coil and just stuff it down the deck. Blocking or no blocking of the juice channels I don't look any more. Works very well.

No. Cal.
By the way, does any one have any info on how the new kayfun will be different from the current one?

Oh no! I just picked up another pre-owned V2. "Thought" I was all set forever:)

Seriously folks. I just wanted to mention with you how invaluable this thread has been for me in making friends with my KFL plus over the last bunch of months. Because of your sharing, I can honestly say that this RBT is my all-time favorite and it has been so easy. The only problems I've encountered have been self-imposed (I dropped my init and it made the threads jump and leak). You got me out of that one! So when I did it again a week ago, I just did what you taught me.
I run a very simple coil with cotton. (16 ga. blunt needle-8-10, 28 gage, 1.3-1.4). I added the cotton nest on the top (learned here). This is an amazing device. At first I was a bit intimidated but I've gotten to where (and to quote another member whom I can't credit as I have forgotten their name) " I could just throw cotton at it and it would somehow be ok." Or words to that effect
Simply, thank you and I hope I can PIF it someday soon.

You all have no idea how much this section, and this thread particularly has helped me. I stared vaping oct 1st with vision spinners/kanger tank....starter kit and didn't even know what an atomizer was. Well, I built my first kayfun tonight, 1.3 ohms with 28 guage. The flavor and taste is so much better, the sense of accomplishment is the icing. I'm using it with a zna and playing with the watts to find my sweet spot now...I love this thing.

Still have questions about wicking, I went with more and just loosely tapped it down. Some of these perfect wicks look great you all have been showing.

Anyway, if there are any members reading is and wanting to get into building coils I would encourage you to do it. I'm going to give my kanger tanks to friends and buy a couple more kayfun lite v2s.

Thanks for the pics, advice, and video how-tos everyone.
