No change here Dusty. Same liquid, 100% PG that I've used for over 4 years. Just hoping the supplier didn't change something.

Have you asked them if they did? Makes no sense that something just stops working when it always has.. That would annoy the heck out of me!

When I used 50/50 vendor juice, I never had to primer pull it after letting it sit. Now with DIY, my 50/50 juice needs a couple of primer pulls before the juice warms slightly and then it works fine. I have plenty of wick in it. I even enlarged juice channels slightly. I can live with it though.

Ehpro KFL+ V2 using 1ohm coil (2.5mm inner diameter, about 6-7 wraps and 0.37mm kanthal) wicking with cotton. Really good flavour and vape! atleast for me. :vapor:

Edit. Oh and around 10-14 watts. Depends on juice

Edit2. Second build = Device says 1.3 ohms, multimeter with probe to probe ohm reading 0-1 but mostly 0 says 1.4
5 wraps of 0.25mm on 2mm drill, again using cotton. even better than first build!

Three EHPro Kayfuns - One Lite Plus, two Lite Plus V2. 12-13 wrap 28AWG Ni200 around a ~2.4mm mandrel @ .13-.15 ohms using a Protovapor DNA40 mod. Temperature set at 420F, watts at 18. Wicked with Japanese organic cotton. It's a wonderful thing. :D

I understand that now, thanks to EVOLV's DNA-40 with Temperature Control, ordinary Kayfun could be pushed to higher power?

Because without Temp. Control, look what happened to my insulator when I tried to do that:

You murdered that insulator. Kayfuners in the past have carved out a new one with an old credit card.

No big deal, I make my insulators from Delrin like this:

This one is for my Fogger, but you get the idea. Let me know if it is not self-explanatory enough, I'll add instructions.

I prefer pictures to words because I'm not native English speaker and I believe that picture is worth 1000 words.

I never used Credit Cards in the past (wrong material) although I used Delrin guitar picks.

When you have a lathe, anything is easy...

Hey guys. Im a big kayfun fan as well. Just got a lil prob I hope you can help me with. When I put in a fresh battery i tend to get dry hits. Im using kgd cotton.

I've heard about the 'less is more' method so haven't been using too much cotton but I always have to be careful about the first 10ish hits.

Just tried using more but still no joy. Can anyone help? A few picks of your builds would be great. I normally run a build around 1-1.2 ohms

Higher ohm coil will help with this as well as soaking the coils when you build.

I tried that and got nothing but burnt flavor. I have tried many times to vape at higher watts and never got good flavor with my liquids.
I was actually joking ricks because I know you run lower power. As for thinner or thicker gauges, not sure if it matters. I don't run really dark gunker juices so never experimented on longevity
