one thing i really don't enjoy about the KL is taking it apart to tinker with the coil. took a break from it and went back to genesis.
Here is LITE in large mode
I've seen this ("large mode") before in reference to the Lite, but it confuses me. Is there more than one mode? The top and bottom tank sections are female-threaded on both ends, the middle is male-threaded on both ends, and the chimney is taller than one section. So all three have to be used don't they?
After vape bliss, I locked the LUX, and passed out. Woke up this morning and decided to remove the KL from the mech only to notice a small (very small) drop of juice on the top cap. As I'm sure I tightened down the fill screw, I guess it's possible it needs to be tighter?
GM to you Q! I didn't notice any moisture around the fill screw; although, I did notice some moisture on the bottom of the KL. You may be on to something with your response. After making that post, I did unscrew/screw the fill screw again to be sure I had it set right, and gave it an extra snug.
Thought: I haven't received my flat top cap yet, so I'm using the slotted. That being said, do you think the bottom of the deck would sweat being exposed to air? Seems unlikely, but was just a random thought I had. Now that I think more, it happened overnight when the device wasn't in use, so the deck wouldn't be warm. Nonetheless, I am not discouraged in the least by the operation of the KL.
The SW is from Super T and the best machining is some of the best I've ever seen. I'd say it is fully mech but others may not. There are no electronics but there is a switch with a lead to the connector. There were 115 sold and never to be made again. He has talked about doing another 26650 mod in the future. The SW is the size of a SB with a 26650 inside.
I'm not a big fan of bottom buttons either and I have 2 'velasThe Roller is great and a super smooth fire button.
If there ever was a test to see if you're a vaping geek... this is it! I read what you wrote above and understood exactly what you are saying... I guess I'm a vapegeek LOL
so the one in the photo is a roller or sw? I also had a vela and actually just sold it because I just wasn't using it that much. thanks again
Ok, i had a little free time yesterday morning.
Here is LITE in large mode, then a tear down of parts.

I just use a rubber band on the air hole for service. Otherwise i would have fluid all over the place.
guess i ran out of picture space in this post, on to post #2
I have. Not in mine; but I have a friend in my local group who has used ceramic extensively. I really don't see it as superior to mesh in flavor, and the set up is a bit harder.
For a 'side button firer' I love my Sirius II SS 3-T. It's a Greek and also inexpensive. You may like to checkout my review on it HERE.
No dry hits with micro n cotton wicks. I am using 30g kenthal for coil. The gunky coil n wick was fig 8 3mm silica. The cotton, just seems cleaner. I hope every one has a great day!!

possibly correct. when I first started vaping the ceramic I thought it was just as good as mesh but I wanted to perfect it some. I messed around with resistances, wick diameters, etc. after a week of vaping nothing but I decided to try a mesh build again, this is when I realized the difference. from that point on I never vaped mesh again. so initially I don't think its that much of a difference, its subtle differences, but they add up after a little time and then become more pronounced. as you know taste is so different from person to person, its like juice, I still cant figure how anyone can vape pluid? its just so nasty to me, so its the same for wicks I guess.
I'm approaching the end of my first tank ran on my first build. Tonight I will possibly tear down the 1.5 wick/coil and attempt to build one yielding 1.2 or lower.
Then again, I may just swap wicks and get on with the excellent vape!
