Not sure if this has been covered...I ordered 2 KFs from inTaste on the first run. Same great service as always. I was on their site last night looking at my soon to be Squape and thought I would shoot them an email telling them thanks. As we often forget. Especially after the idgets that gombed them with hate emails after their last hiccup. I got a replay that they will be shipping Monday the soonest...Christina. This must be generated automatically now to every inquiry or email?

I did that too... the moment I received mine and went gala over it. They also sent me a 'thanks' for the user review I posted there.

the micro coil is pretty good and 18g is at the larger end of the dial. if you are liking it, next time maybe try a slightly smaller diameter. they say 1/16 is the perfect size, I however use a 16g needle which is slightly larger. I haven't tried a larger size and not sure of the difference, maybe next time I will. also I might try a true 1/16 to see how the different diameters differ. also rule with my mc in the fun, I made a separation in the middle of the coil, just enough to pull up the cotton after threading a piece all the way through, I then cut this loop bringing each one to the juice, now you have 4 ends feeding. not really sure if it makes that much difference. also tried a different drip tip, although the stock one is very nice it does restrict a lot of flow

I tried all my drip-tips... found the K-lite is as good with any... However, I 'feel' it vapes tad better with the OEM drip tip. That one gives the best taste and a warmer vapor. Any one else felt likewise?

I lined up a 16g needle with a 1/16 drill bit and they look identical in size. I bet that was fun threading cotton through that tiny coil!

They are close in size. I didn't have a 16ga, so I used an 18. The next one I build, I'll use a true 1/16. I have a piece of 1/16 ss tig welding wire I can use.
Threading the cotton through the coil is actually easy. Just tear a piece off a cotton ball. Twist the end, wet it on your tongue (kinda like threading a sewing needle), get it started, and then pull it through.

When I get my KFL I'm going try a micro coil with cotton wick. But I suspect it won't last. My juices tend to gunk up wicks/coils/cartos very quickly, and I can't see myself pulling apart the tank to change the wick every day.

I also intend to try 1mm ekowool in a microcoil. I suspect that a single 1mm wick won't keep up though.

Doubling or tripling the ekowool heads into "mini-coil" territory. I've also got some "twik" (2mm ekowool with a cotton core) on the way to try as well that I have high hopes for (which would also be more of a mini-coil). And of course 3mm german silica, .8 kanthal ribbon, etc. for experimenting with more "normal"-ish coils.

Gonna be fun ;)

If InTaste had not mentioned "E-Cigarettes" (and that too in All Caps!) there wouldn't've been any issues. I get mods, attys etc. from Italy, Greece, Germany Korea etc. all the time -- never had to pay anything. And they all come by FedEx or DHL.

i asked them not to mention ecigs and they didn't, they put it down as "metal parts" on the declaration. ohwell, it was still worth every penny!

Greetings. Like a genius I ordered the lite from the actual SvoeMesto site the first day they released it, before I came on here and read that they were available at Intaste. So naturally I'm waiting and waiting and waiting. It took 4 days for SM to even ship it, and then 12 days just to go from acceptance to processing! So as everyone already knows never underestimate the slowness of the Russian Post!

But that's not the reason for my post.

I was thinking of getting a Nemesis for my Kayfun Lite, but looking at some of the pictures of said combination on here, it looks like the Kayfun is just a tad bit larger in diameter than the Nemesis. Can anyone confirm or deny this? I can handle mods being bigger than an atomizer, but the reverse brings out some hidden OCD in me.

From the previous page................The Nemesis and Kayfun match up great.

Got my K-Lite on Friday and messed with it all weekend. My impressions:

Build quality and machining are top notch, threads are perfect. No leaks or flooding (if filled correctly).

Looks sexy on my Poldiac and (surprisingly) on my Sigelei 19. ;)

Vapor production and flavor are good, but not the best I've had.

The draw is perfect for me - not too airy, not too tight - it's "just right". However, the airhole seems to make a fair amount of noise when drawing, not as noisy as a carto but noisier than I'm used to.

Having to carry around a screwdriver for refilling is kind of a pain, but it is what it is.

The major problem I'm having is with lower ohm coils (I prefer .8-1.0) - the K-Lite just won't feed fast enough to keep up with these coils. Is there a trick to it besides using primer draws?

I currently have it set up with a 1.8 ohm coil and it's feeding just fine to the bottom of the tank, but that's a little too high of resistance for my tastes. I tried .8, 1.0 and 1.2 and it wouldn't keep up so stepped I it up to 1.8.

I'm using the "figure 8" or "mouse ears" style of wick with three layers of 3mm silica. I tried many other configurations with the wick, but this works the best for me so far.

Yeti,

I have mine setup with 2mm Ekowool in a figure 8 configuration with 3/4 wrap of 28g Kanthal for a 0.65Ω-0.7Ω resistance. What I found (having 4 Lites & 3 3.1's) is that the size of loops of the silica is important. Too big, it blocks the channels and feeding suffers. Too small and flooding can occur.
