My last Intaste order was monday morning.. They could not ship out to me for 7 days. This was the end of July & they were playing with there new export law & limit. If i had the $ or a need for a 4th LITE, i would order from then NOW. Intaste emailed me and responded to my wanting it now emails, whats the delay.. They even sent me an email on sunday, stating they dont work sundays but were in the office at the time. Great customer service & the best price for the LITE i found. Plus when the package gets sent out Fedex, it is 3 days to my hand. Intaste, great company and awesome service. Dealing with export limits, stupid.

Alright so I got my new 16g blunt tip needles in yesterday and decided to try the micro/cotton setup one more time. I thought I was previously using a 16g but it looks like I actually had an 18g so that was probably the source of my issues haha. The build went smoothly and after 12 hours, its still hitting great. Looks like I've got everything sorted now. Thanks to everyone who helped!

what does 16g translate too, 1/16th?

Any tips for the Kayfun or Kayfun lite on running Pluid or Grenada through it ? It swells my top oring in just a couple days. I have plenty of replacements, but what a pain in the .....
yaa, just swells upper o-ring. let the swollen sit for a few days & it shrinks back down. I was running grenada for 2 weeks... Now i only run grenada in my gennie. I will get around to finding a good upper o-ring, just have not found it yet.
mmikee are you using the clear tank section with the grenada? I only used the ss, afraid the grenada would eat the clear section.

If you find something that work, please let me know. The flavor/vapor from the Grenada/Pluid is just fantastic in the Kayfun.

I ordered two Lites yesterday afternoon, as of last night they were inbound and are scheduled to hit my doorstep tomorrow evening! I am blown away with the shipping speed - intaste really sets the bar high.

Sunday order from inTaste still in pending... Monday order shipped... Hmm

Received my KFL a couple hours ago from InTaste. Shipped via FedEx. Awesome that InTaste still gives out the bag of spare o-rings and screws along with a miniature screwdriver set.

Yeah I had to go look for that bag of goodies yesterday when I lost the little oring that fits on top of the stove pipe. Found the bag and forgot how many free orings they give you. Nice!

Am I using too much cotton? I'm getting a burnt taste from the first few pulls. After flooding the chamber the burnt taste goes away but I don't know how long that'll last.

The picture was taken before I trimmed the ends. Is the density of the cotton too much or not enough?

Looks ok, its hard to really tell just by a pic, cant tell how densely its rolled or how easily it feeds in the coil

Looks OK to me.. As long as the legs were trimmed down quite a bit..

I always get a few dry hits after putting on a new wick and coil.. I usually get a few dry ones when refilling the tank as well but I am using ekowool instead of cotton so that might be a reason.

Might be a little thick and long on the legs. Iput juice on mine so it swells how it's gonna do then I trim the gerth down some and the legs should just sit across ledge. I let mine soak over night not 1 dry hit with cotton.

What I do, is put the evaporation chamber on, without the tinman hat. Then I drop juice onto the wick until it starts to seep out of the intake channels. Then I put the tinman hat on and assemble the rest of the kfl. Then fill and wait about 30 minutes. no dry hits.

that is exactly how I do mine. I used to drip on the coil and wait till it seeped then put the chamber on but this got a little messy if I wasn't fast enough, so now I put the chamber on first like you then drip, then tinman's hat. the only difference is that I vape mine after 5 minutes and its always been good.
