A question... when you talk about kanthal 28g, 29g... For micro coils, you talk diameter of the kanthal? 0,28mm, 0,29mm.. ???
Which is it the best?
Thanks!!

Wire gauge has to do with the thickness and resistance. The lower the number gauge, the lower the resistance, and the more power that can flow through it for a given time. 28g is around 0.32mm. There is no "best", it just depends on what you're trying to accomplish. Generally speaking, lower resistance allows more power to be drawn from a battery. This allows control when using mechanical mods, which do not regulate the battery output.
CRSS,The LITE is same as an ody, or terminator -c. If your upper o-ring does not seal. Your fluid will leak out the air intake. Have you tried a replacement upper o-ring? I guess you have the coil, placement wraps worked out. The only time i have had fluid come out the intake. My upper o-ring failed, it was swelling from my juice choice. I have three LITES sitting here, no leaks.. My favorite is filled with Grenada, past 2 weeks, no leaks. I put a pro-tank wick seal in place of my factory LITE o-ring. Do you have the xtra o-ring's?
Yes after 2 days the swollen o-ring returns to correct size. I was swapping them every 2 days, running Grenada fluid. So i will say for sure, Grenada & Pluid will swell the "4c". But after 2 days sitting out in the air, the o-ring returned to its normal size.CRSS,
Does the swollen o ring return to be reusable again, or are they a done deal if they do swell, trash ?
Just good info in case this happens in the future...Anybody can list the juices they know that ruin this o ring..?
Thanks-

Thanks!! I will use in provari. I want to make microcoils with 11 turns more or less. Can you recommend some link of kanthal please?
Thanks!!!![]()

Here is my normal size & swollen "4c" picture. When i figured out my air intake leak & crazy flooding.
Here is the ProTank coil seal I replaced my "4c" with, no more swelling!!

Sure. Let me go thru this tank and I'll take a pic!
Actually found this pic on my phone.

Vapdivrr, you can't just describe something beautiful and post a pic later lol. Can't wait to see it.

Double Decker : Doubled the Pleasure!
How To: Twin Micro-coils on Kayfun Lite
It Works
Acknowledgement: If it was not for Vapdivrr's amazing videotorial I would've never known the fun within Micro-coilsand couldn't have taken it a step further. Thank you Sir!
1. KFL WASHED-UP AND WORKSPACE ARRANGED:
Attention: Don't ever forget the Multimeter. This is your 'most important' tool at rebuilding!
2. COILS PREPARED:
28AWG Kanthal, 13/14 wraps over toothpicks, 1.7/1.8Ω each. Resultant Resistance on Atty: 0.8/0.9Ω.
3. ONE COIL MOUNTED:
4. COIL SQUEEZED:
Note: The real benefits of a Micro-coils come out when they are tight-rolled, virtually in 'short'.
5. COIL POSITIONING:
Note that the 'spiral' of the coil is upwards with their tails at the bottom, the ones which'd get attached to the +/- posts. This is how I position all my coils on every Atty. Schematic below:
6. COIL HEAD UPWARDS:
7. SPACE BETWEEN THE COIL AND AIR-CHANNEL OF THE BASE:
Note the gap I left between the coil and the air-hole in the base. I typically maintain around 1mm space, which gives me the best VTF. Remember, the closer you are to the air-channel - higher the vapor production, the further you move away - more TH. It's pertinent to find a sweet spot here, which'd come by experience.
Caution: Do not touch the coil to the base, it'd result in a dead short. -DANGER
8. ONE COIL FIRED:
Firing at 1.8Ω, Multimeter checked!
9. SECOND COIL MOUNTED:
By far the most difficult part. Took me about 30 minutesIt'd take time but you'd get it eventually. And once both successfully fire - it'd be worth the pain. Patience takes the best of it here!
10. INSPECTING THE DOUBLE MICRO-COILS :
11. DOUBLE MICRO-COILS FIRED:
12. INSPECTING THE 'LIT' MICRO-COILS:
Note: This is firing at 0.8Ω, on a 3.7v battery, multimeter tested.
13. COILS TRIMMED:
14. THE COTTON WICKS:
15. ONE WICK INSERTED:
16. SECOND WICK INSERTED:
17. WICKS TRIMMED:
18. WICK TAIL SIZE:
Trimmed each tail-end to 1cm.
19. WICK ENDS POSITIONED:
Note the wick-ends are just sitting/touching the bridge. I didn't make them longer to overtly lie there (as I'd do with Silica or EkoW) b'coz it'd've cramped up the space and constrained the juice flow. Remember, cotton swells like hell and remains so till there's juice in the chamber. Besides, they'd also sag and settle down a bit further than when we had initially placed them.
20. WICKS INSIDE THE CHAMBER:
Closed the chamber tube, tucked the wicks a bit towards the bottom.
21. WICKS TEST FIRED:
Dripped about 8-9 drops of juice and voilà!
BOTTOMLINE:
It's a cumbersome setup, took me over three hrs. Of course mainly b'coz it was my first attempt, which needed more deliberation. But, if you are into double the pleasure... everything doubled(!), a warm vape, an aromatic vape (yep, this gets to a room full of refreshing scents! Ah, some of our e-juices really smell wonderful, don't they?) and if you are contemplating reducing your nic content -- this is the way to go. Did I hear, "it hits like a freight train" somewhere?
