Tennovan, that's pretty much what I am doing. I like to keep it simple as the kayfun allows for simplicity. I'm seeing lots of interesting ways to wick and coil the kayfun but truthfully find most of it to be unnecessary (albeit fun to watch). A simple inline micro-coil with easily insertable cotton ball wick does the trick every time. I liked some of vapdiver's leg tricks for easy mounting on the screws. I think it should be pointed out that for the subohm enthusiasts, 26 ga (as vapdiver uses) is a good choice while 30 ga is a better choice for the regulated mod users where higher resistance is mandatory. Just my opinion as there will be someone who comes along and refutes everything I just said.

decided to make a new kayfun video because the last one I had to dub some cheesy music onto it to cover up some other music that was playing in the back round. when I went to upload to u-tube they deleted the sound because of copyright issues, this is when I dubbed over to re-upload. I also added a few other things in the new one.kayfun lite coil set-ups - YouTube

Fantastic! Your previous one was good enough... I succeeded my micros by following it to the T... now this one, which is more neater off course, gets me to try your type of dual micros on my next build.

Thanks buddy! I might 'subscribe' to your YT channel now I guess... another vape-reviewer in the making, is it? ;)

Just ordered up a KFL. I hope they live up to the hype!

Well, it's not the second coming of Christ, but the Kayfun is a VERY nice device providing both enhanced flavor and performance. For those who own Provari's, the Kayfun is a similar experience. While there are many PVs that do the same thing a Provari does, nothing produces more confidence than a Provari. The Kayfun is the same. It makes you feel confident you are getting the very best vaping experience.

Until the next engineering genius comes along in, what, 3 months?

But I agree. This thing screams quality right down to the 510 threads. I've never had a device that threads so easily that I can give it one twist and watch it spin all the way to connection.

And yet another perspective...similar to vapdiver's...

nice vid...thanks for pointing that one out. At about 12:50, he rolls his cotton and inserts it into the coil. I usually dont use that much cotton where you need to force feed it through the coil. This contrasts a bit to vapdivrr's technique and with what I do as well. I found that this can inhibit juice flow. But I guess it may depend upon how you compress the cotton prior to placing it in the coil.

Any other force feeders out there that want to share experiences?

After I built it i filled it up all the way. Is there anyway to go back in there and fix up the wicks without wasting all the juice?

-Lord

I use a long blunt syringe to pull the juice out first. I suppose you might be able to plug the drip tip, then unscrew the base. You'd have to prop it up to keep it upside down while you work on the build.

So I decided to try all cotton (I have been playing around with ceramic). Watched vapdivvr's great video this morning kayfun lite coil set-ups - YouTube and slapped one together at lunch.

So far I'm pleasantly surprised. I did the two vertical single micro coil build, using 28g around a 16g needle. I wanted to be a little cautious as it was my first build of this sort, so I believe it was ~10 wraps and came out at ~1.3-1.4 ohms. I think next time I will shoot for 0.9-1.0 range. It seems fairly versatile, vapeable from 9-15 watts (~3.7-4.6v) currently at 14 watts/4.4v and liking it so far.

*Edit - Russian on DNA20 mod
