that's pretty sweet. is it expensive? I love the poldiac.

It was around $150 shipped. Swiss made, acquired from intaste.de in Deutschland. Shipping was very fast. I wanted another KFL style atomizer, but this one seemed to match the Poldi's oval detailing. I like the look pretty well, although I could do without the knurling, as usual.

Just finished building it with a 7 wrap, 28g kanthal, micro with 1/16" ID for the cotton wick. Came out to 1.0ohm. At first I was dubious about the air flow system. It's a single hole in the 510 connector with slots in the base. Rather small slots. Seemed to be a super tight draw, even off the mod, and I like them mounted flush. I actually flooded it at first doing primer draws. Kinda messy because it leaks onto the top cap, and potentially into the firing pin and mod. That didn't happen, however. After clearing it out, I didn't prime it much, just started hitting it, and it's working surprisingly well. On par with KFL, actually. Apparently it doesn't need a lot of air, because it doesn't feel tight at all now. I think it's a keeper.

The jury's still out on this guy. I had some more flooding. I think it was due to the coil being right on top of the hole. There's a channel below the deck, and there was just enough room for the coil to fit. It was just about touching the hole. I decided to turn it over so that the lead plane was on the bottom. This seemed to place it a little higher than I'd like above the hole, but maybe it's ok. I also put a thicker wick in it in order to absorb more juice. So far so good, but it's too early to call it done.

Wow there is a lot of pages to rummage through.. have a quick question..

PLUID in Kayfun lite.. works great but yes.. the 4C O ring swells and I have been using my spares but now I have all but swelled them all up.

Has a solution been found for this problem? Or does anyone know the measurements of this O ring?

Thanks in advance.. I did do a search but just got directed to this whopping thread.

Just wanted to ask this question again as I posted between heavy discussions and cool photos..

I have a friend who works at a hospital and uses syringes all the time. She stuffed a ziplock full of them and gave them to me. Several kinds. As soon as it feels draggy I chuck it and grab a new one. :) I'm sure those glass ones are smooth as silk.

they really are. I used the plastic ones for over a year and never knew the difference, I just thought all were draggy until I got the glass, like you said it is smooth, but then again it can be too smooth as the juice can just flow sometimes without pressing. hopefully she's not giving you used ones.

Otto is a really talented guy, and he spends countless hours on his engravings. Some of the more understated ones are pretty nice. Would I spend $2-3k heh nope.

do you think this is why they are really expensive? because of his engravings? does this otto guy make & engrave the mods himself or just engrave? I could see the price if like a really famous artist did the engravings but I never heard of otto. maybe its an otter not otto that makes them, then I might pay the money. that would be cool if someone were to ask "who made your mod" well yes it was an otter.

I had looked into the glass syringes at one point, but I use so many syringes in my DIY that it would get pretty expensive. When I'm mixing, I use a separate syringe for each ingredient. I do clean them between batches, and use them until they start to drag. I order the plastic ones at my local pharmacy. 3ml and 5ml are about $14 per box of 100.

no doubt that would add up, but all you would have to do is sell a couple of your mods, instead of the 50 you have now, I suppose you could live with 45, lol. just kidding rule. their great if you just need one or two but a waste of money if doing diy like you are.

I've retired a few. I haven't sold them; but they're out of the rotation. I'm down to about 17 active. Well, 18, if I count my "beater" Vamo that I only use when I'm playing golf.

I get the same when using the stock drip tip, but not when using a wide-bore drip tip. YMMV.

You shouldn't be getting any juice in your mouth, even with the stock drip tip.

You may be overwicking and flooding the coil chamber, or your wick may be too close to the airhole and dripping into the chamber.
My guess is the former, I've never had the latter happen and my wicks are pretty close. Try reducing the wick you are using.

Beautiful! Maybe if I was a millionaire but there's no way I could ever afford one.

I only vape 4 different juices LOL

I've been using the same tip that came with mine and swore I liked it best. But last night I changed to a wide bore and the pin ...... seem to be gone and the intense th (that made me cough) is less (which I like) My first genesis was a did clone.. it came with a really nice drip tip that matches the KFL perfectly. The did clone has long since gone to the atty retirement home but the drip tip it came with is my favorite :D

I've been using the same tips in my KfLs. I had several of the tips that came supplied with the original Chids, and they look and work great on the Kayfuns.

The changes did the trick. It has been working perfectly with no flooding or leaking. Nice vape. A bit warmer than the KFL. Otherwise it's very similar.

Say Vapdivrr, I watched your micro-coil rebuild on your AC9 and was a bit inspired. So I pulled my AGA-T+ out of the bottom of my junk box and decided to try it the way you did it. It fires up fine except when I put the cover back on. No idea why. There is plenty of space on that AGA cover. No wires sticking out funny. Coil is comfortably inside the wall of the cover. No apparent interference with anything, etc.. Pull the cover off...no problems. Put the cover on...nothing. Has this ever happened to you?

As you have probably figured out by now, I'm not a big fan of Genesis. Too finicky. And this is why I say the Kayfun blows Genesis out of the water. At least in my world. I've done nothing but fuss with that Genny. I have better things to do with my time than to wrestle with attys. And yes, I've rebuilt many attys in my time and didn't fall off a turnip truck. I'd think there was something wrong with me if I didn't hear the "finicky" accusation used by many toward their AGA's.
