When did you order your adapter? I've been trying for over a month and they're always out of stock. Thought they may have stopped making them!

I just so happen to post in the WTB section in the classies here and a kind person PM'd me about having an extra.... I'd try there, couldn't hurt :)

Just an observation here. I got a second kfl about a week ago in a trade. The owner listed and showed a pic of a scratch on the deck, said it came that way. OK.. no problem. When it came I looked at both of them and the one I've had for 2 months has the exact same scratch in the exact same place! Mine came from the factory like that also.

I put a coil and wick in it and it was perfect. I rewicked it a couple days ago and perfect. I've yet to get a dry hit off of the new one. Remember that with my original one, it's taken me quite a while to get the density and placement of the wick right. Ok... so maybe I've just got better, the last wick I put in my original one has been perfect also.

Now here's the weird part. Remember Bronze getting yeti's kfl and saying that it seemed to run hotter? Well this new kfl seems to run hotter. Not exactly hotter...it's working perfectly.. it's just um..peppyer.

The setup in my original one is a 1Ω coil running on a provari at 3.4v... that's 11.5watts and right up at the 3.5amp ceiling. The new kfl has a 1.1Ω coil in it and it's running at 3.3v on a provari.. that's right at 10watts. You'd think that the original kfl that is running 11.5watts would be more "powerful" but it isn't... running them side by side it's obvious that the new kfl, running at 10watts has much more "get up and go" than my original kfl running at 10watts. They both have identical micro coils and cotton in them.

my original...1Ω 3.4v 11.5watts
my "new" one 1.1Ω 3.3v 9.9watts and has way more "pep" or "snap crackle pop" than the one that is running higher watts.

I just thought it was weird/interesting that they're identical in looks.. right down to identical scratches on the decks. But one is performing vastly different than the other.

Next time I have them both apart, I'll take a pic of the matching scratches. But I'll bet if some of you look at your decks...you just might see a small scratch on yours too.

Now that got me go looking for scratches on mines... hmm, none anywhere. Thus, mines didn't come from the same batch as yours! But that 'peppyier' point is interesting beyond doubt.

Although I am greatful for my TRV Hybrid Adapter.... I don't understand how it goes on the kayfun lite and connects to the tube...? If someone would be kind enough to explain to me this process I'd be very thankful :)
And once on the KFL do I have to remove it every time to fill tank?

The Hy-Adapter gets the atty an external threading exactly as that of the mod's internals (Caravela, Paps, Gus etc.). U screw that adapter on your atty and fasten the lock pin. Then screw this contraption (LOL, I was about to type 'contraception'!) onto your mod top end (sans it's top-cap).

U r right. While refilling, u'll have to remove the Hy-Adapter from a KFL, b'coz of it's bottom filling hole. Not required in case of the 3.1ES or the Russians.

So where does the white Teflon thing go?

+1 on the scratch. Mine has it as well. Got it from Vaperev about three months ago. No problems, however. This is the easiest to build most flawlessly performing atomizer I've ever used. Think I might sell my Ithaka clones and gennies

There's a scratch? Where's the scratch? Somebody show me..

How can something that is as flawless as a Kayfun Lite have a scratch on it?!

It must have been done intentionally, to mar it's perfection, because we ALL know that nothing can be THAT perfect. :D

You know your kfl is good when you let a friend borrow every other tank and clearo you own hoping he never returns them.

-Lord

LOL! I gave all my previous clearos to a friend of mine along with my Ego bateries. Truth be told I got myself 4 Kanger EVODs and 2 450mah Ego Minis for my dessert vapes and they serve their purpose well.

I'll be using the KFL Hybrid on a Caravela 18350 AwImr18350 batteries.... Will I need to use the Teflon insert? And I don't see where the bottom locking screws are :/
The white ring hold the "pins"...depending on what size battery your using you inset the nickel pins there.
The white teflon ring then goes in the battery tube on top...
