Not trying to be a smart ..., but why? If you have a screwdriver to remove and replace the screw after you've filled, then why not just fill using the recommended method? I'm obviously missing something.

^So very true. SM gave me that 'fill-hole' for a purpose - and I intend making the best of it.

No way I'd eliminate all of my gennys. I still have a couple DIDs and Cobras in the line up. They're just too good.

I've eliminated;) all my Gennys except for the Brass Senesis and the AGT. No, not b'coz they are any better - the Kayfuns are - but b'coz they look so damn good over my Paps-Lux and the Ba Gua respectively.

I've eliminated my AGA-Ts, and all but 1 RSST. But I'm about the same way with the DIDs. They look great on my Poldiacs. The Cobras look good on the Nemesis. My Paps Lux has a Taifun GT on it; and the SS Paps is wearing a Squape. The Kayfuns are on Provaris.
But I can't see myself completely eliminating all gennys. They're still a great vape.

Ok... Shorter Chimney and tank parts? What's the capacity like that?

This would be sick on a Neme in 18350 mode with a Hybrid adapter and the Shorty drip tip I have. Much better stealth setup than the EVODs and Ego Mini's I have underway. If they hold at least 1.5 MLs of liquid I think I might have o buy not just 1 more kayfun, but 3 more. :p

Went back to a silica build after a few weeks of cotton. Def like Cotton better but the silica is decent. Seriously need to get a second kfl ASAP.

-Lord

Lord...I can' tell much of a difference between cotton and silica to be honest with you. I defer to silica only because I don't have to replace the wicks when dry burning is required. But keep in mind, I smoked a pack and a half of Marlboros every day for 40 years so my lungs and taste buds are pretty much wrecked so I'm hardly an authority.

Rule, what kind of resistance are you building in your KF's using your Provari?

So i have two kayfun lites and i always build them the same way, 8 wraps 5/64 drill bit. Every single time one of the kayfuns read 0.2 ohm higher? Im pretty consistant with my builds and always build them the same way. Is this normal? Its always the same kayfun that reads higher

I'm guessing your one KF is throwing a little resistance in one more than the other. I would consider that normal. Perhaps someone will give a better technical response.

1.2 ohm micro coil, with 28g kanthal. It gives good range of adjustment, and provides similar vape to my usual .8 or .9 conventional coil genesis/mesh builds that I use on the mechanicals.

I would suspect the tightness of the center screw that goes in from the bottom towards the base of the positive terminal. Tighten that just a bit and recheck your resistance. Dont tighten this with a fully built kfl. Do it with the deck outside of the device and grab the deck with a thick set of pliers so that the base of the positive terminal doesnt rotate.

I haven't tried 28ga (cuz I don't have it). I'm using 30ga and yielding 1.8 ohms. Works fine. I'll give the 28 ga a spin whenever I get the wire.

Thanks
