Idon't have kayfun Lite yet but I got the next best thing in vapemail from VapeRev, which is its Drip Tip !! lol No seriously, i really am enjoying the KFL's drip tip and it's not too shabby on my standard sized laser slotted boges.

RHP
I did HEMP w/out micro sometime back and loved it...
My experience is no....as long as you have a tight micro/nano and it is setting tight against the air hole.

qorax, I think the hemp you used is different to the hemp fibers that are becoming popular at the moment. yours seemed to be in a chord, while the fiber stuff that's going around now seems more like cotton. maybe its the same stuff in the end, yours was just in rope form. anyways I have heard great things on the hemp fibers, im getting some to test this week. the boiling process like you said is a must. so in the end was there not that much difference to justify the cleaning process?
Hey guys, got another question, well more of an issue. I've had this happen with both cotton and silica - burnt juice. My first build was a .8ohm micro coil using 30g and silica. My next few builds had a larger diameter (all with 30g) and were 2-2.2 ohms. I vaped the .8 coil at 3.8v and have been vaping the 2ohm coils at 4v. I never let my cotton go longer than 2 days and I will have burnt juice on the second day. The silica is supposed to last longer and I still had burnt juice over the same time frame. The juice doesn't taste badly burnt, but it's definitely not as great. You really see it visibly though. The color is a lot darker. Any ideas?
sometimes adjusting the coil height can affect it. I find the lower I put the coil the more the coils will oxidize(or is it the other way?). anyways try adjusting the height, it may help. how high do you keep your coil?
its funny, the only part of the kaylite I don't use is the original drip tip, I just found it to restrictive.

i went the other way. my first rba was the kfl and i liked it (still like it) but i wanted to venture off and bought myself a steam turbine. ive had the turbine for 2 weeks and ive only ran 2 tanks through it. i keep going back to the kayfun. i like the ease of building it, the flavor production and the fact that i can walk around with it in my pocket and not have to worry about it leak on me. im keeping the turbine because heck, i like the way it looks...but i will be investing in 1 maybe 2 more kfls when budget permitsDamn... I just got my first KFL, and all I have are great things to say about it. I was an exclusive genny user, with the rare instance I would use a dripper.
The taste is the same as my ceramic wicks in a genny, but the KFL is way more efficient.
On my AC9 w/ceramic, it would take me two 18490 to kill the tank. I can kill the KFL tank with one 18490.
It probably has to do with the time that ceramic takes to heat up. I am running a 0.8 ohm 28g coil with silica too.
I am in love, and honestly want another![]()

well looks like you got it all cleared up, lol.funny that you mention the coil height. i pulled it apart today to clean it out because that burnt juice was really nasty and put a new wick in. i was messing with it and i took a small flat head screw driver and wedged it between the air hole and the coil and lifted the coil just a tiny bit more. and BAM! no more nasty liquid! it was just a hunch but it worked. divrr you are like yoda lol
