just a heads up though, I opened my juice feed channels slightly in my kayfun, a stock kayfun will run too dry with a setup like this and the wicking probably won't keep up on a stock one

i gotcha. what did you use to open up the channels?

a dremel with a tapered almost pointy but rounded tip carbide bit. just massage the channels a bit, sounds scary but as long as you don't try to go for broke on the first shot it's not so scary. the ss is hard to machine so just a little passing of a bit like this in the channels with the ball end and it's very slow going to remove material, just make sure you stop and try it for a day or 2 after doing a little and have patience before you keep going and going it's very doable. I can show you pic of the bit if your interested

that wire is pretty thin, .2m german wire, it's 2.8 ohms, at 6v it heats up in 2 seconds flat and vapes awesome at 12 watts... I do want to drop it down a bit to hit 15 watts, 2.8 is a little too high but honestly it's vaping so well I don't even want to touch it right now...

Would make for an excellent space heater for my bedroom during the winter.

my kayfun mini has been working so good that I really don't want to rebuild it, haven't rebuilt it it maybe 2 months, even the wicks are lasting me ~a week at a time as long as I don't overdue it and burn, really like the kayfun mini

Man, I seriously taking the dremel to my KFL+ but just open up those channels a tiny bit. I got a set of diamond dust covered mini grinding bits for my dremel. I'm also taking a sanding drum to the air hole screw.

Should've been able to do it today but I'm gonna have to wait till I have some more time.

BTW Bronze. I've been running my KFL on my Neme clones exclusively mostly at 1.5 - 1.8 ohms so mechs are not just for sub ohming. Personally I did it for the looks. Getting a Kick2 has turned this mod into an ever customizable beast of a mod. Lately I've been setting my Kick2 to 11 watts, as that is the power I get from my current 1.2 ohm coils on a full battery and I get vape consistency and more vape time from all my batteries. Whent from using up both 18350's and 18500's on a single day to just one of each. I've been able to run a singke 18650 for almost 20 hours of vape time.

I think you'll find a lot to love about the Neme.

Not necessarily, some stuff isn't actually to bad. The HF Dremel diamond wheel are crap, but I have a similar set of diamond bits from HF that work as good as my Dremel brand.

I have the same set...certainly not industrial strength, but I've used them on stainless steel, and they did the trick.

Hi Everyone,

I´ve had my Kayfun lite for a few weeks now. And have to ¨dry pull one in a while or else I get dry hits.

I have my full Makrolon tank on and I just noticed that every time I do a dry pull I only get bubbles from only one of the juice channels.

The problem is not severe and I do use my Kayfun but I can’t count on it for all day use because of the dry hits. So I either carry another device with me or leave it for home use because of this.

BTW I have a 28 g microcoil with about 8 wraps metering 1.3 ohms and I am running cotton.

Any suggestions?

It sounds like the wick/coil needs to be raised off the deck just a bit.When the wick gets fully saturated,air goes thru the wick instead of around causing the gurgling sound.
I dislike gurgling tanks,the sound drives me nuts.A co-worker uses a carto tank and it gurgles like a drowning man and he is always complaining about flooded cartos.

Ok, Finally drained the tank of the old juice, and just raised my coil off the deck a tiny bit and NO MORE GURGLES AT ALL! Thank you so much for your advice. I am now currently enjoying the best vape of my life. I cannot thank you enough for your advice. Wicks like a dream and I have one of my favorite juices in the tank (NamberJuice, Mango Jams) and a little more wick and . . . oh wow. This is the vape that I have been searching for. Again, give yourself a pat on the back, or a snoopy cheers, or something . . . because this baby has taken OFF!!! Happy vaper, omg, happy vaper here. Thank you times a million . . .
