My mail lady loves me...she always leaves the signature required ones in a secret spot for me so I don't have to make a trip to the PO.

I don't think I've ever seen mine lol! Shows up when he wants, never knocks. I live in the back of a ranch house so my door is there. I'd never know when he showed up. But after 10 years of delivering my mail it wouldn't be too much to ask to just leave them. YOU SEE MY NAME ALL THE TIME!!!!

Thanks for all the help the cvs rolled sterile is now working great.

I'm terrible with computers. Here is the break down of how I make the wicks now. Tiny piece cut with the grain and gently gathered into a round shape for a wick.

Awesome! Glad it's working well, and wick looks great.

It's kind of hard giving advice for cotton, because what works well for one doesn't work at all for another. Cotton can seem finicky at first until someone gets one down that works for them, then it's an easy and reliable wicking medium. I put off trying cotton for the longest time, I think I was the last holdout in the micro coil thread lol, but once I tried it I was sold.

Some things are not meant to be tapered! ;)

I wanted a ring that was the size of the Provari. That way it gives me creative freedom to put whatever tank I want on it. The Kayfun may be 22mm, but tomorrow there may be a 23mm tank on there. Then you'll be left with a 1mm muffin top. :D

I still like me a good muffin top. No lie either :)

OK Funners, I know we've been through this before but I don't remember what we came up with. Got a gal who has a Kayfun Lite (unplus) who just bought a Provari Mini. She's gonna need a beauty ring for it. Who offers a beauty ring that...

A) does not leave a gap, and
B) does not spin or rattle around?

Thanks for your input.

Okay - I promised an update on the GR-Modders Pro Ring when it got here - and it just did. Interestingly, it fits perfectly on my ProVari Mini, but unfortunately it rattles, spins, and leaves a gap on my full sized ProVari. I got the same results with 2 different KFL+s.

Personally, I like my Lokis the best. :vapor:

How odd! Q gave a strong thumbs up on his GR Modder. Which one did you get?

Centre post in Mod, combined with the centre post in your atty/carto/rba will cause a rattle and allow the ring to spin if they don't sit flush with each other. There's nothing except the two pieces coming together to hold that ring down, unlike the Hippo which actually screws into the 510 connector of your mod.

If you can adjust either of the centre posts so that they can sit flush against each other, you will make the rattle go away.

I got the unpolished with teardrops (#3 in Qorax's pic).

I just tried it on His Highness's full-sized ProVari and it fits perfectly on there too - strange ;)

ETS: no adjustability with the ProVari or the KFL+ but it's fine that it fits my Mini. It may get a little Swarovski bling too :)

Do you find your other atties/RBA's ride a bit higher on that Provari as opposed to your mini?

I would think that the Provari centre post can be nudged down a bit if required. It's put in there with 500lbs of pressure but it may be just a touch raised up compared to your mini.

I never really noticed because it's mostly worn a ZAP, but I just tried an AGA-T2, my Kraken and both KFL+s and they all fit the same/flush on all three ProVaris (without rings). I have 2 Lokis that fit perfectly on all three as well.

It fits fine on the Mini so I'm happy, I appreciate the the tip though. ;)

I have the GR-Modders' Standard Pro-ring ~ not the Kayfun Pro-Ring... and this one makes all my attys sit flush.

But hey, I actually like the Loki's rings better, especially the $2 type Black Delrin one ;)

Have you ever had one of those builds that was so stellar in performance it would break your heart having to rebuild it at some point, and the build isn't anything special or different than what you normally do, it just happens to be as good as it gets....just thinking out loud here.

So that leads me to the question, how many tankfuls before the cotton turns to mush ?

Yes, indeed...as a matter of fact, the stars have aligned on my current build!

I change my cotton out every other tankful. It's not so much that the cotton goes mushy, but the coil needs a dry burn to be able to heat up properly, and, unfortunately, we can't dry burn cotton.

The ekowool I just ordered is 2mm. I plan on shooting for around 1.5 and using it on a Provari. I've been die hard mesh for several months now but the success of the spheroid and silica in my did has convinced me that I can get the vape that I love from something other than mesh in a device that I don't have to keep upright all the time.

Hi, I will eventually try all the different wicking materials but from those of you that have been there done that, what types of vapes do you get with organic cotton vs sterile cotton for mini coils and the differences in silica, ecowool which I've seen solid and hollow core, any comments on these wicking materials?
