I just picked up one of these for my first rba. I did a micro coil with cotton and came in around 1.5 ohms. I like the set up and it seems very easy to build on for first timers

Any tips and recommendations would be appreciated. I'm not ready for a genuine one yet--and don't really want to try Fasttech. I thought the Ehpro might be a nice compromise.

I've tried ten attempts to get my tobeco kfl plus running to no avail. So I decided after numerous ohms wicks (mostly cotton one ecko wool) diff id coils and micro and wraps and this and that. I decided I'm gonna let my six year old wrap my coil on a 5/64 bit came out to 2.2 ohms and I doubled some peaches and cream and slid it through there. This is 100x uglier than my very first coil (a million coils ago lol those we're the days) and I'm about to fire it up. If I get a dry hit I'm gonna dremel the channels. If that doesn't work I guess I'm getting a real one (maybe a russian though v2) and I'll have a kfl clone dripper lol. Check out this ugly set up. Fingers crossed no dry hits lmfao.

You're gonna get dry hits because you've got too much yarn in there. 5/64ths is my normal coil size, with 1 strand of Peaches and Cream yarn. HTH..

Now about those screws... I just read in the BE thread that the screws are very small and a PITA to tighten. Anyone has a solution?

Really? Cuz it slides through with ease and I was gonna do one strand but it literally had no room to touch the coil. That's why I did two. I in wound all the strings and cut them to wear they don't a curve but just touch the base. Although my pic was a before I did that. And this doesn't say what mm it is. It just says medium 4 ply

If youre correct which you must cuz I can't get it right lmao. I'll take it apart and show you. It was like throwing a hot dog down a hallway there was so much room in there. I have a feeling this is just what I get for buying a clone honestly. I made some beautiful attempts with all the videos and advice from you guys and I get the worse results. So I'm going a few more tries and than I'm getting a real one and this will be a dripper lol.

I have a BE and don't find them too small. That said among other places at fatdaddyvapes you can get a dozen Kayfun screws for $4 + shipping.

Oh no they aren't too small. They're just rounded at the bottom which makes it a pita to catch wires some times

Lol remember how someone broke into my apartment and took my tool boxes? I lost ALOT of things then.

Buuuut I do have a little stash of goodies left over. I've found that only my russian and my authentic kfl screws are flat at the bottom. But I refuse to use them on the clones. They are reserved for themselves.

As much as I adore the BE, I still treat my authentics with a bit more. Respect. Hahahah

Ok, could have done without the baby momma comment.. But.. yes you're yarn looks the exact same as mine. I twist one end and stick it through the coil, no threader required. I do leave some excess (tails) laying on the deck. Wet wick/yarn with juice before putting it back together.
