GF couldn't do it either, she tried for an hour and gave up. I finally got it, but took a while.

Good job Clark. After a bit you'll be a pro and ask yourself what is so hard about it.

Even with little tiny fingers, it's not easy to get the wire around the posts, but it's well worth it once you succeed!

Ladies are far better at wrapping coils than guys. Y'all have those skinny little fingers and the patience of a Saint. Can't tell you how many ladies said they can't do it and when they try they are experts at it.

It replaced a mini kanger protank 3. All I can say is .....WOW! when it comes to flavor.

1.2 ohms with 28 ga. kanthal and cotten wick.

Provari mini is in the mail and expected this week and I really can't think the flavor can get much better...

Best flavor so far, my last analog was April 1'st

Just thinking...will the Provari fire at 1.2? That's about the cut off right?

Provari v2s and above fire at 1.0. It'll even fire at a mid 0.9ish

The Provari will cut out when you exceed 3.5 amps. So if you set the Provari to its lowest voltage setting you could theoretically get a 0.83 ohm device to fire.

That's true, but then that'll only be around 10 Watts effective. The trick is to try to maximize the Watts given the amp limitation.

Common sense would say that someone building shy of 1 Ohm isn't looking for a 7 to 9 Watt vape. LOL.

I usually ruin mine right off the bat, when I'm trying to compress it, and some wraps end up overlapping...

I solved that problem yesterday... I held the wire tautly, and got my husband to tighten the first screw!

Once I get the first one tightened, the 2nd one isn't hard, but just getting the stupid base to stay still and not skitter all over the counter, THAT is HARD!

Patience of a SAINT??? HAH!!!!!!!! I doubt I have the patience of a FLEA!

I do have small fingers, however doing these coils means I've had to start keeping my nails cut short, which I really hate, but when my nails are long, I can't pick up ANYTHING! Especially not things as tiny as all this junk!

What I hate the absolute MOST is when I drop some tiny part off the counter... because I am blind as a bat. I start screaming profanities at the top of my voice, my husband runs in wondering who's killing me, and ends up looking for the bit for me, because I JUST CAN'T SEE IT!

Thanks... The rampage set screw is not stainless, and over time, rusts. The threading on the piece that goes on the Kayfun is also threaded badly.

I just build my heron on the mod with the switch locked.

Akdare, notice no coil screws... I was bummed when it arrived missing pieces, but it was a 10 minute downer. The Heron is so simple, i was just admiring it on the vice.

I build 510 stuffs on the ohm reader box.
