Been through all those wars.Many with Provaris are snobs and the ones who don't have Provaris are jealous. They deserve each other. But as a purely objective viewpoint, the Provari is simply the most reliable and durable regulated PV money can buy. I would not recommend one to anyone starting up. They have to know vaping is going to work for them first before I would recommend a Provari. It's a sizable investment.
I dunno based off my personal experience and journey through the vaping world. When, I'm asked by a noob what to start with I generally tell them an mvp2 with an aerotank or nautilus. Relatively inexpensive, high quality setup. I figure if I would have started with that I would have saved some money long term and quit analogs ALLOT sooner. I also tell them if they like the mvp2 they are gonna love investing in a provari as a primary device and keep the MVP as backup or pif it to another noob. This way their first investment on an unsure thing is affordable and doesn't scare them off from vaping.
I guess I give the advice I wish would have gotten. Then it's time to put on my batsuit so I can stand and fight. Lol

I wish the cap was flatter on the Zmax. I need to see more pics of a Kayfun on a Zmax.
Sounds like good advice. I wouldn't start someone off on a cig-alike. I always thought Spinners/Twists were a good entry point. Inexpensive and they worked. If they liked it then stepping up to a Provari isn't a stretch. It's a balance between getting them gear that maximizes their vape quality yet not spending too much and wasting their money if it is a hobby they don't want.
Exactly! I started on cigalikes and they just ...... me off; started smoking more; and, didn't consider vaping for another 6 months. Then I finally broke down and was advised to try a joyetech ego kit. I went through 3 kits in a few weeks; because, they kept breaking. Then I got the MVP2 and it was perfect! Paid 60 dollars a piece on the ego kits them 90 for the MVP- all at a rip-off b&m.
Because of the constant breaking of the ego kits I usually advise them to start on the MVP2, not
Much more cost wise on the net and IMHO it's light years ahead of the egos in quality and functionality, without having someone give up before they start.
You had bad luck with the egos. Everyone I owned worked great. Still have some my wife uses. They keep going.

I keep telling myself I'm gonna solder them back together one of these days. Every one I've owned has had the cap pop off and the leads from the board got pulled off either the batt or the board itself. Wouldn't be difficult to fix but they used such tiny little wires I was scratching my head on how that wire supported 3.4 V without totally melting.
Nothing wrong with an ego or a spinner; I mean it's all personal taste. One of my girls friends at her office has been using spinners with evods for 3 years and has no desire to use anything else. She thinks the mods we use are too bulky.

I split the difference. I own Provaris and the ZNA. They can beat each other up to see who is king. So far, it's a fairly even match for how I vape, in the 12 - 15W range.
Was looking at the zna but with the provari being just outside my comfort zone on cost the zna is totally out the question. I'll do a second provari for backup. I may get a DNA board and build a DNA mod to play with.
Hey guys, I got a problem with my original KFL+. My English is not great but I am gonna try to explain my problem.
Yesterday I was making a standard 28g microcoil but when I tried to screw it, the center pin went loose.
I read online that you must take out the 510 pin and readjust it but I can't make it work.
I remove the pin, hold the insulator and the post, put the pin back again and screw it all the way. At first it's ok, but when I put it on my DNA box mod and try to install the coil, it starts moving again.
What can I do? Thank you and sorry for any grammar mistakes.

Thank god these things don't seem to depend on airflow from the bottom; if I do this with my hypertank, it shuts off the airflow completely.

Is there a way to get my KFL+ v2 to sit flush on my ProVari? The beauty ring I bought from VapeRev still leaves a small gap.
You can try screwing in the 510 pin a little.
One of mine fits flush the other is just a tiny hair above- you can't see it but the ring wants to spin. Cosmetically though you can't tell.

Next time I rebuild I'll try to tighten the 510 pin. I haven't touched that since I took it out of the box. I have another one coming, so maybe I'll have slightly better luck with that one =D
And I don't belive the ProVape and Svoemesto rings are the same.

So do I! I hounded the denizens of the Sigelei thread about that very thing, but the trick with the kayfun ring is the first workable idea I've run across.
One other idea that someone contributed is to get the Sig zmax "round-top", which has a far greater bevel, because apparently you can use provape beauty rings with those; it just rides on the bevel and a 22mm topper holds it in place. Won't work for the flat-top, the provape ring isn't tall enough to simply take the place of the flat-top's top ring, but the kayfun rings are just about perfect, though with a little fiddling to make sure the center pin can reach the battery post, but not reach it so closely as to let the ring rattle around.

You can always go with a dirt cheap $15 Kayfun clone from FastTech. Use one of the tank rings on your Zmax. Keep the rest as spare parts. Problem solved

Sigelei zMax v5 with Kayfun clone. I use a Provari ring which fits perfectly on the Sigelei
