If juice came out of drip when filling you just over filled it... no biggie. Just blow back thru the drip tip till the juice stops coming out.
I just rewicked to cotton and when I was filling juice came out of the drip tube, so I think that seal may be bad.

What do people think about me trying a Fogger V4+? Is it easier to build?

One thing I'm not clear on is the siphone channels. How do you go about not blocking the top of the deck. I mean I know you don't want any wick in the vertical slot but what about the hole left at the top on the deck?
This is what I've learned about trying to use CCr. As pretty much everyone has said you need more inside the coil because it shrinks down a bit once fully wetted. But for me at least, on Kayfun builds and Fogger V4, that leaves tails that are too bushy for me to work with. I've found that trimming the ends into a V shape, point at end widest part at shoulder by coil, is needed. I've seen others say just trimming across at an angle works for them. This leaves enough wick to place at the channel without so much it ends up clogging the channel. I've done this with both attys, not into channel just filling the space directly above them. Took me a bit to figure out what works for me.

Most likely it is from over filling and you need to be careful about that because over filling effects the performance. I know the device holds over 4mls but you shouldn't do that much. 4 mls max, I do 3.75mls. It also could be a bad seal on that oring, so if it keeps happening you might need to change it or clean. I have a fogger and find it slightly more involved. The fogger is a dual coil device which in itself is a little more trickier. Also the fogger is best sub ohms. As for wicking, both have their quirks.

The rayon literally clogged up right after I typed this message. I think this thread may be a jinx.

But that's the symptoms. It will vape fine at first then quit wicking.

Tapering the wick sounds good also leaving it 1-2 mm short of the deck may also help.

In my time owning/using a Kayfun (10 months now) I have seen every imaginable build using every imaginable wicking material. They all come and they all go and when the dust settles, what is left is a standard microcoil with cotton ball. :)

That's what it is inside everything of mine, including Prometeys and Micro RBAs

I met a guy on ECF shortly after I signed up who was a gear geek. Knew everything about everything, tried everything, experimented with everything, was on the cutting edge of new gear, knew all the electronics, etc. In fact, I first heard of the Kayfun from him before it was even released (I remember thinking what a goofy name it was...how good could it possibly be with a name like "Kayfun"). Now he owns his own wholesale juice company and after all that messing around he said he is back to where he started...using a silica wick. :)

Just might be headed there myself in the Kayfun. At least with NETs. This Build is finally doing good, however. It is the same one that gurgled for a long time, but is now settled down and doing what it should. This lends credence to the idea that it is the NET liquid I'm using that is causing a premature death of the cotton when I use the 'correct' amount. It seems in my case, a little more than 'correct' is correct for longevity.

I'm a NET connoisseur and can attest that cotton wicks get trashed very quickly with NETs. Like 1 - 2 mls. The advantage of cotton is it can be changed quickly/easily. But I can never get a full tank from a cotton wick (or a silica wick for that matter). That's why I drip the gunky NETs in a standard Phoenix RDA. the cleaner NETs I vape in the Kayfun.

I keep saying that but more and more juice keeps showing up. If you change your mind shoot me a pm. I have one im sure you would like. :)

I will Slim. Thanks. I have been thinning out my juice inventory. I'm in phase three. Had way more juice than I'd ever vape so I'm hell bent on getting it down...way down!

How's Diesel?

Wife stole my Origen v2... got another coming :) The Origen seems to last forever with cotton and NETs...

Every Rotty I've owned has taken to water like a duck......water is like a magnet to them.... can't keep them out.....lol

I think it's instinctual. Webbed feet = Water Dog. Even a mutt with webbed feet will take to water without giving it a second thought. If they don't have webbed feet then some like it, some don't. People who own swimming pools and don't want a dog that is always going in the pool (i.e., stinky wet dog) stay away from dogs with webbed feet.
