Does the chamber size affect taste?

The taste id definitely different. Because I put two different juices in them.

But, for all seriousness: The smaller deck one has more flavor but less vapor. Like kayfun.
The bigger deck produces more vapor but a little bit less flavor, like Fogger V4.whatever.

I'm no dog expert, but what I know is if they have webbed feet they take to water as if it is second nature.

Give it a try and let me know. How long have you had the device? And which one is it? Sometimes it just the smallest things that makes a big difference and it just may take a few more builds to find it. If there is one thing that I wish I could change in the kayfun, it would be a design that would allow you to make a build without having to take out the juice. This would allow for a much shorter learning curve for most. that's why I love working on my aqua tanks, you can turn upside down and unscrew base while keeping the juice in the upper part. The chimney stays attached to top cap and tank section. when re wicked, or re coiled, you can just thread base back into juiced tank section. So all the kayfun needs to achieve this is for the chimney and chimney top to be one piece, and to make it possible to stay attached to the top cap. Maybe some threads inside the little chimney top hole. If this had some threads, then maybe there could be a drip tip that threaded down into it, this would make the chimney stay. If this could be done, all you need to do is to flip over device and unscrew bottom deck and keep everything else intact, including the juice. In theory it should work but who knows? Maybe one day I will modify one to see.

not for working on the deck, but EZ-fill without a tool or messing with the top-fill method.

one thing I love about the kayfun are all the aftermarket modifications by Science of Vaping, Wolvesix, Tarsius, Orion, Hysteric Vape, etc. maybe someone will machine something like you're talking about...the SOV V2 is half-way there with the threaded chimney/topcap combo. I'm if imagining it correctly, he would just need to reverse thread that section and maybe extend it all the way down to the deck (replacing the bottom chimney piece), so you'd just need to twist off the tank and everything wouldnt come apart.

Have you posted pic's of your setup? I think we can not blame the cotton ( I use that cotton and works great) so let's see that setup...

Ya.. couple of times with a couple of setups..


However, think Im narrowing it down, thanks to Diver. I was told 'less is more' w/cotton, so when I built my first and it had a 'cotton' taste, I reduced it. Too much it seems. I use NETs and it seems that with NETs you need a little more cotton than 'normal' in order for it not to gunk up quickly, stop wicking, and burn the cotton. I was using less than a 1/4 of an unrolled ball 'width', then right at around a 1/4, and now between a 1/4 and a 1/3 and also leaving the tails a little longer than I was before. This results in a 'gurgle' until about a 1/4 tank is gone, then it smooths out and, so far, lasts the rest of the tank. I dont might the gurgle even though I have to open the air all the way and turn up the volts (I'm a cooler, tighter draw, vaper) as it only for a bit (I chain vape), and also 'cause I am usually rushing around at the same time and need the extra nic hit

This isn't a regular Kayfun. It is a giant 28.5 mm Kayfun for 26650 Mods. I don't think yours is that size.

You see, twice the amount of liquid will create twice the pressure in those channels. They were afraid it would leak profusely if they leave those channels the same size as the little one. IMO

Ahh.. I see what you mean... though it doesnt look like it worked in the end.. Besides, vacuum is vacuum and it shouldn't have matter to much.

Divrr, you definitely do not want shorts but in the end, the tightness or looseness of your coil really makes little difference. The tighter the coil the hotter it will burn. It will be more "efficient" using your word. What you are really considering is will my vape and flavor and wicking be better at 250 degrees, 350 degrees or 450 degrees or higher, or variations in between.

Bottom line, it makes little difference. A tighter coil may last a little longer. A tighter coil looks better in forum pics. That's about it. To atomize juice you really do not need much heat at all. That's my

I really do believe there is more to it then just heat and looking pretty but tbh, I haven't totally read all of his blogs and such on the subject. anyways, pertaining to my original question, are you saying that my results of a shorted, or an uneven glow in the coil, has nothing to do with how tight it was?

Somebody doesn't understand how "vacuum" tanks work.

Vacuum - shmacuum... You suck on your Kayfun creating Negative Pressure that is called: "Vacuum" that pulls your juice into the chamber.
That said. One guy likes the tighter draw and uses thinner e-liquid and the other guy (like me) likes looser draw and uses 70% or 80% VG, thicker e-liquid. How could you expect the same device to accommodate both guy's needs?
