I think I have heard this before about a b & m store placing a coil parallel to the screws. What's this about?
Perhaps there's another RBT that "likes" parallel
coils?? (Yes, parallel, that was the word I was searching for...all I could think of was perpendicular!). I'll mention it to them next time I drop by. They were very open and thankful when I called to report my findings about using less cotton. They know and understand that this is an ever expanding science. Very humble actually. It's great when I remember that I don't have all the answers but I bet someone or a bunch of does.
The terms are interchangeable in my head- when i look at the build deck I see a circle with two screws and a coil.
They (sm) say set it at a 45- I don't see how the direction matters - it's a circle and has 360 degrees lol
Parallel or perpendicular are directional references In my head it's dependent on tr position of the screws when you hold it.
I think of the screws being in north- south direction For some reason so to me I always considered what y'all call parallel I called perpendicular and vice versa.
All I know is I wanted the two coils as close as possible without touching and leaving the airflow hole directly under the space between them.
I do out the dual coil ends running from screw to screw. Like kiwis parallel only mine were placed way higher.
I'm gonna rewrap one tonight and play show off. I'll be bored lol
