Give it a try and let me know. How long have you had the device? And which one is it? Sometimes it just the smallest things that makes a big difference and it just may take a few more builds to find it. If there is one thing that I wish I could change in the kayfun, it would be a design that would allow you to make a build without having to take out the juice. This would allow for a much shorter learning curve for most. that's why I love working on my aqua tanks, you can turn upside down and unscrew base while keeping the juice in the upper part. The chimney stays attached to top cap and tank section. when re wicked, or re coiled, you can just thread base back into juiced tank section. So all the kayfun needs to achieve this is for the chimney and chimney top to be one piece, and to make it possible to stay attached to the top cap. Maybe some threads inside the little chimney top hole. If this had some threads, then maybe there could be a drip tip that threaded down into it, this would make the chimney stay. If this could be done, all you need to do is to flip over device and unscrew bottom deck and keep everything else intact, including the juice. In theory it should work but who knows? Maybe one day I will modify one to see.

I'm a week behind on this thread, but that's the biggest improvement I'd like to see in the Kayfun as well. I love the way I can change the coil so easily in my Taifun. It sounds like the Taifun might be set up like the Aqua as far as being able to turn the tank upside down and take it off the base so you can change coils. It makes it very easy to add juice on the go that way too, without having to worry about losing your fill screw.

Diver, you know what? I just noticed. I should of had the tails coming out the same side. Oh well.

You're going dual build on those? Sub ohm build in the .8 range approximately, I'm guessing.

Yeah, I liked the findings Diver had using 32 ga twisted duals. My gripe with thicker wire is the heat-up time. Diver said he found using twisted 32 would heat up quicker than similar resistance single strand wire. Diver said he was getting 0.9ohms with dual, 10-wrap, twisted 32, @ 1.7mm so I'm basically doing the exact same thing and will put it on my mech. Of course, I'm concerned about how warm the vape will be. What I have learned about cool vapers (myself included) is we are real sensitive to warm vapes. That's why subohm has never appealed to me.

I'm the same way. the lowest I go is 1.2 ohms -- that's me getting crazy on the weekend. A friend mine is all about the subohm and runs like 0.1 or something ridiculous. The flavor comes out a little more, but it's like sucking on a steam engine exhaust. I dont get that trend at all.

now, if I could get a cool vape but an instant hit, I'd be all over that...

I think a warm vape is a flavor killer. All I get is heat and no flavor. Just me.

Funny. I must be the only one, but I find that twisted wires heat up significantly slow :/

If I do use twisted wires, 99 percent of the time is 32g. That is definitely a fast wire, but faster then an equal single gauge of the same resistance, It seems to me it is. Maybe it's because I'm comparing it to 28g which may not be fair. But let's say it's equal in heat time to 29g, I still would prefer the twisted 32g because I feel like I get better coverage. I don't use thicker gauges with twisted coil so I really haven't compared. I would think something like twisted 26 or 28 would indeed take some time

True. My twisteds are 32g as well ~ and that's instant hot rod doubled over!

I bought the kayfun from fasttech that ONLY holds 10ml of juice....lol

I did not see the other one having a clear section and I need to see my juice. I see you have the clear section. Where did you find that?

Surprisingly for me too, it actually comes equipped with both: Stainless Steel and Clear middle section in a nice box.

I got to mess around with this phone because every time I try and click on a video link my virus program won't let me watch. But yes its a tube mod by mark bugs. It's the latest dna 30 by him and was pretty expensive. At first I wasn't paying attention to the euro symbol and thought it was 250 dollars which I thought was a little expensive but once it was converted to dollars, i freaked a bit. No regrets though because vaping equipment is all I really buy, I save on other things and splurge on the vaping industry. Actually I also splurge on all my business tools as well, although it may not be the same as vaping, I found out years ago that I would rather buy quality work tools then cheap stuff. This has always worked out well through the years for my busness. Anyways it does look like a very nice mod from bugs and looks awesome with the elk origin atty. I blame this all on qorax, it's all his fault
