I'm afraid my dry hit, cotton burning issue has won after trying several clones and a multitude of build variation I was batting abot 75%. Too much time wasted with the KLF. I was working with this for NETs exclusively but I think they are worse at isssues with nets than clearos. I've switched to rda. Such I refreshing change I haven't had one bad "build". You can buy premade coils that just slide right in the set screw hole and use cotton pads for wicks, literally takes less than 10 minutes. I think ultimately my problem with the KFL is not being able to build a coil and the terrible struggle I had getting the coil ends to stay under those tiny screw heads without twisting up the coil creating hot spots. Hot spots are really the only explaination for my issues as I tried every possible variation with the wick.

Honestly I am much happier with the rda's and I carry a VTR with an aerotank for work. I still have one KFL filled with Captain Black Dark NET and I'll admit it tastes good but not as good as from my brass monkey RDA.

Have you tried the magma RDA? The well iS HUGE! i get almost 39 minutes before needing to redrip.
As per the legs on the kfl, keeping the coil on the post then unscrewing the screw a bit and wrappin the leg around the shaft of the screw then screwing it back in and positioning the coil. Not sure if you tried that technique or not, or maybe you're just done with it, but that's the way ive been doing it and no problems.... yet.

I had a lot of trouble with trapping the leads on my EHPro KFL until I replaced the original screws with socket head cap screws. Even though the heads are smaller, they're flatter underneath and now there's no trouble at all with the wire moving during tightening.

McMaster-Carr p/n 92290A596, Type 316 Stainless Steel Socket Head Cap Screw, M1.6 Thread, 3MM* Long, .35MM Pitch, packs of 50.

*could also use 4mm length

I loop my wire completely around the screw one time and hold the end against the base and then tighten. Never an issue.

Hmm is the o ring on there? That could be a cause... maybe replace it if there isn't.

I switched to the steel tank with fresh o-rings and problem solved. I like it just a giant steel pillar plugged into my e-lvt.

LOVE IT!!

Never paid the macro lens attachment any mind before. Definitely going hunting for one now. Love the short depth of field and how clear it is.

Heh. Funny thing is, all I wanted was a magnifying glass to take pictures of my builds.

Turned out a lot better than expected. Grin.

Also aren't you an avid photographer? I would imagine that you haz a super intense macro lens

Not for the Iphone!!

Taking 1:1 macros are a lot tougher than it looks.

Please do post a link if you find that clip-on style of macro lens. Seems handy compared to some of the other setups I've seen.
