Ok. That was a pointless exercise. Tried the off center build.

Definitely no difference in openness of the draw. At all.

Flavor seems the same?

There MIGHT have been a sliiiiight increase in vapor production. But nothing to go like "hmm yeaah it's different"

I wonder if other folks will have a different result.

Calling Diver!!!

Say Diver, you did some testing using cotton ball in different thicknesses. Can you impart your findings again for us?

Thanks!
It was something I did in the kayfun, I tried to make a build that produced dry hits. what I did was to use different amounts thru the coil while keeping the tails optimal, so it was just coil amounts, not tail amounts. I will do various tail amounts next time but as far as coil amounts, the only way I was able to get a dry hit was a cotton amount that was to thin. When I over stuffed the coil, the only issue was flavor decreased but no dry hits. With the last attempt, I installed a ton of cotton, so much it bent the coil, no dry hits.

I honestly pay little attention to how much I stuff inside the coil. But I do pay attention to the tail length. I never get dry hits. I'd be interested in what you learn with tail configurations. Thanks Diver.

I've never tried this and cannot confirm the results, but maybe it's worth a shot.

If you do that, you might as well go with the dual coil setup. One in each side of the airflow and a little space in-between the coils .
I did that with my AGA-T7 and it is performing pretty well:

Just gave this a a whirl and i hate to say it, but i ended up with exactly the same draw, slightly warmer vape and the same volume and flavor of vapor. Maybe.its because i normally have my coil set higher than most but That's my take on it. Wrapped it with 30g at 2mm diameter coils.

Kayfun Clear Nano Tank $20.00 at Vape Source

Description: This is an upgrade for your Kayfun RBA that replaces the entire outer housing of the unit. Nano M-Tank design can be used with the original factory Kayfun chimney to give the Kayfun a shorter look.

Not exactly what you were looking for, but I don't see how you could use a stock chimney hat with an actual "nano" tank; it would extend too far into the top cap and not allow the drip tip to seat completely.

Thx fellas, Since i have the infinite clone kfl+ v2 I dont need any special chimneys right? It came with long & short chimney.

Any glass tanks that can be used in nano mode wthout SS ring? I cant really justify $20 on plastic tanks lol. I just basically want nano size with glass & without needing SS rings.

Think I'm going to mess with that in the next couple days. I guess I will try to keep coil amounts the same, then start tails with small amounts then work up to large smounts. But then how would a thin amount in coil perform with over stuffed tails? Or an overstuffed coil with thin tails? There is so many variations one can do.

Hi, I have kanthal 0.3mm and I would like you to recommend me a good setup for use with high watage.

Thank you!
I'll be honest
In my exoerience, not that its worth a whole lot, but the kfl seems to have performed best between 1.4 and 1.6 ohms at or around 14W. Built with a single coil.
However the orchid has thus far done best for me with dual coil at o.7-0.9 between 20 and 24w
From What I've read going to subohm on the kfl can melt the insulator.
I haven't experienced that but have read things.
