You can access the coils on a kfl+ without draining the tank already with the kayfun tool. I got mine from clould9vaping. Only cost me a few quid but is a bit fiddly.

Well yeah.. Talking about natively though.

I wont pay a higher price for the KF4 unless I see substantive improvements that will make my vape experience better. If they double the price and add only bells and whistles then I'll take a pass. My current KFL's are still providing me a great vape. The sub-ohm package does not interest me. I'm not a sub-ohmer. For those who prefer sub-ohming, I can see where they might be willing to pay significantly more.

It sounded like they didn't care about clones because they said they can manufacture way more than clone makers and they'll sell out. It might actually help them to have clones floating around. How many authentics have they sold because someone bought a clone and they liked it so much they bought an authentic?
"41 elements"

Do you speak Russian?

Because this is almost Verbatim what Eugene (Евгений) of SvoёMesto said about clones in that interview :toast:

Kayfun-4 TEASER :)

"Kayfun V4 will be available in several diameters and there will be hybrid connectors for different mods. Kayfun V4 will have improved deck with ability to install dual coil builds. Wicking should be similar, there will be liquid control and top filling without removing the top cap.

There will be two air channel kits to choose from and later there will be an upgrade kit for hardcore sub ohming with even larger air flow. Standard airflow kit will work with down to 0.8 builds on a mech, sub-ohm kit should work fine with 0.3-0.4 Ohms. Auge is using his KF4 with 0.7 to 1.1 Ohm builds.

The way all features are implemented are not copied from anything else on the market. One RTA has one similar implementation of one unnamed feature, but they did not see that before implemented in Kayfun V4.

Kayfun V4 will not whistle. There will be metal tank, glass tank and polycarbonate tank, all included in the kit. They all will have different visual designs. Kayfun 4 is made out of about 41 elements. Drip tip will be included, 510, replaceable.

Rayon would make your juice taste better by a long shot, and will be much cheaper.

I've stated why I don't use Rayon. I'm very happy with Japanese cotton. Is Rayon better? Maybe it is. Decent chance it is. Some, like you, are convinced it is. Some say it makes little difference. But I am unsure of its safety even though I am 75% sure it is fine. Am I wrong for thinking this? Depends who you ask. But I find my opinion is the best opinion for me. :)

Absolutely stunning! Looks like Svoemesto is doing a better job with PR too. I'm an "authenticist." I don't have a ton of gear but what I do have is authentic. I don't have an opinion about clones as I don't have any. (Oops, almost lied. I do have a Kayfun mini clone. Found it impossible to get a used one after Svoemesto stopped making them. Now, I know why they did...hahaha).

Im betting that folks who have wanted to try an authentic will be able to do so by visiting the classies soon. Not sure I could let go of my 2 though...

Thanks for posting the unveiling

Also am I the only one who finds the bulging middle section really ugly :/ looks like I'm gonna have to stick to the m-tank look

Nope, you're not alone. Disappointed in the need for a bulge to use glass, when countless glass kits for the KFL+ kept things 22mm.

My OCD is not accepting the "bulge" look. I own a GUS Estia, that i only dislike the bulge =/ Will fit my PapsX, but i like smooth, straight lines.

Ditto. Like others here, sorry to say but I'll wait for the clone. IF I like the clone and get over the bulge, I'll get an authentic. Always buy clone atty's first. So glad I did so many times, as many really sucked in practice and I only wasted $20. I do own an authentic KFL+ and the new FivePawns edition, but the clone came first.

Cotton is cellulose made in dirt. Rayon is cellulose made in a factory. KGD has little black specs they say are flecks from the cotton seeds. Perhaps, or perhaps mouse droppings. KGD is organic. Dog poo is organic, as is syphilis. Either way, rayon is way safer than a Marlboro, of which I suspect you have had more than one. And rayon is a superior wicking material to Japanese cotton. Wicks better, more forgiving, lasts longer, easier install.

In the mean time, I wait for the KF4 lite. Lovin' all 4 of my KFL+s.

Sounds like rayon is the best choice for you. I'll stay with the dog poo for now. :)

I don't think there was a "need" for the bulge...I am more than sure that it's a nod/throwback to the original Kayfun, whose Makrolon tank had a bulge as well...which was just a stylized decision...
But I'm not SvöeMesto...I can't say for sure...

Such a shame that a company spends so much time/money/R&D on producing something new and exciting only for people to look forward to the counterfeits coming out. Each to their own I suppose but I'd always prefer to support the innovators over the imatators.

Yeah? Good luck getting your money back when you've spent $200 on something that sucks. At least sucks to you - might be awesome to others. Thus the justification for buying the clone first. I won't name names as not to offend someone's favorite device/atty, but I have some clones that sucked so bad I'd have smacked myself up if I "supported the innovator". Cool, fancy, and expensive doesn't guarantee a good design. Leave the odds for Las Vegas, and even then, get the insurance.
