I'll wait for the Lite at that price. Too much. And before someone else says there are other atty that cost more...they're too much too.

Waaaaay outta my budget. I'm out

Come on guys.

What did you expect it to be fasttech priced?

I paid $200.00 for my first (and only) authentic Kayfun 3.1ES in 2012. I still have it.

With the exception of that Kayfun and few authentic drippers, everything I own are clones.

But I think, I'm still ON for Kayfun 4 from the Country of Mercedes-Benz and BMW.

EDIT: It's either that or rDNA40 Vapor Shark. Hmmm... The Shark might win.

I just shared this on the K4 thread. Posting here because it applies here too..

"It's not the price point for me.. but I can also guess that those people that you talk about dropping $200 on a Mod, are not the ones shrinking away on dropping $200 on a topper.

I fully understand that not everyone can afford to drop premium coinage on both a mod or a topper. What irks me personally is when somebody buys a clone and then when they have issues, don't relate to the fact that it may have to do with the clone e.g This Kayfun sucks. It always leaks, threads suck, deck sucks etc etc. as opposed to This Kayfun clone sucks!

I ended up buying 5 authentic KFL's within 4 months of trying my first one and have never regretted those decisions. I never owned a single 3.1, original or clone. They just never appealed to me.

I do not buy for a minute that most on this thread cannot afford an authentic. They happily paid stupid money day after day, decade after decade, for a pack of reds in a box, only to burn them up and inhale the fumes. I buy only authentics, and still save money over the analog habit.

I always thought that clone owners should be banished to a different thread. I bought seven real deal KFLs, gifting away three. Open the box, coil 'em, wick 'em, fill 'er up, vape. Then get on with life. Never heard of quality problems with authentics.

Sure the new kf4 sounds spendy. But it may well be in my mouth all day and still cost less than a month of analogs. And not being a clone from China, I can be confident that it will work, not rust, not leak, not require a session with a Dremel, not contain lead, arsenic, pcbs, or any other host of maladies that come from buying cheap clones.

Well no..... As someone who's owned close to 10 authentic kfl and r91, I certainly do NOT expect fasttech price.

Here's the thing that a ton of people just don't seem to get. Can some people appreciate prices above 100? Yeah sure. I do. Can we appreciate the work that goes into it, and the accompanying quality? Yeah sure.

But that doesn't make 190 bucks any more affordable. Some folks might have more disposable income. I do. Some folks might be willing to splurge excessively on a hobby. I don't.

140 was and still is my upper limit, and im not embarrassed or apologetic about it. Shrug.

I'm not gonna scoff at people who are able to and able to pay 190 bucks for an atty. I think it's great that they can. But at the same time I don't expect anyone else to be offended that I wouldn't pay that much. All I'm saying is it's too pricey imo, and im out.

I don't know how anyone can decide if something is fair or affordable for someone else. Each person has their own idea as to what is fair and affordable. The circumstances and reasons vary greatly from individual to individual.

Exactly! And I can appreciate it when there are people who can understand and respect that.

I've never bashed anyone for buying clones, and certainly not mock folks who pay exorbitant prices on mods or atties.

Just unfortunate that this sweet fella is priced outta my limit, and Im ok with that + perfectly ok with not buying it apart from that shinyitis at the back of my head.

Of course that is true, and perhaps I will have to save some money, or wait for a new KFL that better fits my budget. But making AND buying clones is stealing. Buy an iClear, buy a protank, buy a vivi nova. Lots of credible authentics from the Far East.

But show up in a yugo with 'vette badging asking why a 'vette don't handle too good is too low rent for my tastes. No sympathy.

Some of us are no longer in the monetary position we once were when we could spend $5+ a day on dumb crap like cigs and rolling tobacco. Hence why I took up vaping, rebuilding, and diying juice in the first place.. Don't always assume everyone here is loaded, there's a reason the PIF thread exists..

I have only authentic KFLs. And while I believe cloning has an element of stealing I also have a feeling the authentic makers don't lose many sales to clones because those who buy clones likely would not spend the big bucks on the originals. And what is an appropriate time to "protect" the designers? Especially in a fast paced market like e-gear. Notwithstanding the earlier conjecture (that I believe is purely speculative and presumptuous) on what SM profit margin is, would if the K4 was priced at $80 instead? Would that wipe out the clone makers? I don't like the element of stealing any more than anyone else. At the same time, I have no sympathy for the authenticaters who charge a hefty price for their product. Don't kid yourself, Svoemesto didn't put out these sleek new ads and designs without having made a ton of loot on their 3.1's and KFLs.

I'm sure China will clone it quick:
