It takes a while to get used to all the things that can unscrew. I accidentally unscrewed 28 the other day instead of 26 - makes a mess...
A screwdriver in an airhole is good for getting purchase. Many recommend removal of orings and lubing them with juice.

I've just added a chimney extension and glass to mine to take the capacity up to 6mm. Have quickly discovered that this adds another part that can be accidentally unscrewed. :)

I keep a small allen key on my desk now for torqueing things tight. The 6 ml tank sounds good, good vaping means more refills. At least I can rid myself of gunked up napkins and paper towels now. What are you using for a coil? I have 30g kanthil at 1.8 single, wrapped 6 coils around a 2.4m screwdriver, Japanese organic cotton or my favorite, drugstore cotton balls.

6ml is good - makes the tank a bit big but I'm coping. The atty is authentic so I got the authentic "longmode kit" from cloud 9 for expensive. I think fasttech do a cheap 7ml kit, but can't be sure.

I've had it 3 months and my current build is my favourite - 28 ga, 3mm id, 8 or 9 wraps for about 2.2 ohms. JOC pads, cotton just touching the deck.

Happy camper. Only complaints now, ring #25 sticks and screws off when the deck is removed, and the valve is a bit stiff. Other then that all is kool.

Used a dremmel today on the bore, must have been out of round. #25 now stays on and valve works properly. When #25 was getting stuck in the bore it impeaded valve operation.

The bore(hole) drilled in the bottom of #26 wasn't a clean cut or out of round. This is why my valve only worked a 1/4 turn, as part #25 would hang up on the inside of #26. I reamed out the whole in #26 with a Dremmel tool.

Thanks, understood. When I see "sticking juice control" I immediately think #8 is not seating proper in #3, cos that's what is usually reported.

Well done you on your diagnostics and fix, and well done for not running with my advice.
