Its official, I enjoy vaping12mg Bobas bty in xl lr resurrectors more than sr stardusts on a kgo. Resurrectors are a looser drag, more vapor, less th, less flavor. The sr stardust flavor is excellent but the th can be harsh when chain vaping 12mg bobas bty. The sr stardust is definitely more convenient and hassle free so far. Im going to try an lr stardust. It may be the best of both. I'll post the results later.
Changed my mind, I enjoy vaping both:D

i am now trying to find out if i am smoking this correctly.. i like to take drags like drinking from a straw as opposed to sucking like blowing a whistle the but in reverse, i hope that makes sense.. when i suck vs. puff i notice i get a taste in my throat.. but if you puff like that way you drink from a straw i cannot inhale for more than a few seconds vs. that sucking method.. but again i get that taste in my throat when i suck.. any ideas?

for the first time tonight at the bar, using the epower it seemed that my carto ran low, i notice a smoke smell, similar than that of the time when i ran a carto with nothing in it from when i first bought the kit. at any rate, i was worried to refill it in fear that i messed it up.. but after a refile, it seems to be ok, the smoke smell is gone.. now i know to refile before it gets to that point.. but it happened pretty quick..
That smoke smell signals that you have burned the carto filler by vaping too much juce before refilling. If it's a small burn it may not bother you that much.

When I refill a XL carto it usually takes about 25 drops (1 ml) to refill. That's very different from the 50-60 drops I use to fill a dry XL carto.

Drip filling doesn't take that long after you learn the short cuts. I can refill three cartos by dripping from a 30ml plastic drip bottle, clean the E-Power 14650 and put away the gear in 10 minutes... while watching local news on TV.

Have ya read the InfoZone tuts for beginners? It has a wealth of information. :)

This page has the basic method of use for PV's, just scroll down to "User technique" near the bottom.

Beginner Tutorial - 2

Remember, a PV is not a cigarette. You can't use it the same way.

It takes a while to learn your vaping technique. Too much pressure will suck in e-liquid droplets.

If you use a drip tip as a mouthpiece take care to clean it out with a Q-Tip at least once a day. Juice vapor will condense inside the bore. That doesn't taste very good if you inhale that into your mouth.

These Smoktech LR XLs requires a harder draw than smoking a cigarette. I draw into the mouth and throat. Then the vapor either goes into the lungs or is slowly exhaled directly through the nose. Either way works just as well for me.

Use shorter draws when the carto is newly filled. Longer, lighter draws as the carto reaches the half-filled mark (refill time) or during that last hour of battery life when voltage is unregulated.

I don't think that sticking button is a good thing. In 10 months of use, I've never had that happen. Any chance you would/could return it?
The E-Power 14650 switch that I've been using for the past months (see post 110 for photo) stuck a few times when it was new. The switch button is a hard plastic, smokey-colored button (one of the latest and greatest generation switches) with a blue colored LED light underneath. These plastic buttons actually float over the switch. If they are new and fit the surrounding switch housing tightly they may stick. After some use they wear-in and work flawlessly.

Pressing a stuck hard plastic button a few times from different angles or rotating the button slightly will free it up. Then it will work fine.

At any rate, even if the plastic button gets stuck you have the E-Power 14650 switch electronics to provide a safety back-up. If the button is on for more than eight seconds the switch will automatically turn off to prevent overheating.

Heh, I just started vaping for the first time on my e-power this afternoon...it's great!

Funny thing; I'm limited on how much of a vape I can get...not by the gear...but by me. After 30yrs of smoking, I just don't have the lung power anymore. But even so, its amazing. The cat is like whaaat is up with all this stuff?? =)

Been vaping 12mg nic bobas bounty & pg hype on my slb kgo from hoosierecigsupply for 2 weeks. Ive used both xl lr resurrectors from ccv & sr stardust clearos from smoktek. I enjoy vaping with both on the kgo. The sr stardust wins in flavor intensity, looks, ease of filling, & requires less topping off. The xl lr resurrector offers a lighter draw, more throat hit, an impressive vapor production, low bundle price, & free shipping from ccv. I will keep a ready supply of both sr stardust clearos & xl lr resurrectors on hand. I've got more juices some v2 stardust & ce5+ v2 clearos enroute. I'll post my review of these later.

So far I like these ce5+ v2 replaceable core clearos from discount vapers. The 3 I received required trimming of the silica cap slots. The wicks were being pinched by the silica cap. This caused dry burnt hits. I used tiny grooming scissors to nip off just enough to allow proper juice flow to the coil. The end result was great vapor production, bold flavor, lighter draw than ce4+ v2, solid TH, & easy cleaning for changing flavors (disassemble, rinse, lighlty dry off excess water, reassemble, fill, several weak vapes, then back to fully operational). BUT, they are narrow at the top. You will need to fill these with an 18g needle & syringe. It takes forever w dropper bottles. The core spins freely so be carefully not to over stress the wires. The core also wobbles so pay attention when you screw the drip tip on. You can wiggle the core to line up with the drip tip from the bottom of the clearo. Btw they hold 2ml+. Trim them carefully or you may cause flooding. You'll have to purchase a core for under $2 if you butcher the silica cap. Overall worth the extra effort. They should last a good while. If you don't like the hassle go with ce4+ v2.
