Its official, I enjoy vaping12mg Bobas bty in xl lr resurrectors more than sr stardusts on a kgo. Resurrectors are a looser drag, more vapor, less th, less flavor. The sr stardust flavor is excellent but the th can be harsh when chain vaping 12mg bobas bty. The sr stardust is definitely more convenient and hassle free so far. Im going to try an lr stardust. It may be the best of both. I'll post the results later.

I've never tried Boba's Bounty simply because everyone talks about how thick it is. Anyone have a favorite carto/tank/clearo that works with it?

First of all, 3.7V devices only work best on LR cartomizers. You'd get better result with SR cartos if you use them on devices that can be adjusted to higher voltages like VV mods. LR cartos were designed to make 3.7V perform well in the first place.

I bought many types of cartos with various ohm ratings when I was just starting. Cartos with 3.0 ohm rating, for example, are useless on 3.7V devices. I can only use them on my VV box mod. I got tired of the confusion and switching around between devices and decided to only buy LR cartos to keep things simple and economical. I'm not a fan of VVs, so I settled with 3.7V and LR cartos.

DaveP; Pbusardo made Boba's Bounty famous in his YouTube reviews. He was using a J-Tank with Smoktech single coil 1.7 ohm LR XL cartos. He was cutting his own slots into the regular (not pre-punched) version of the carto with a Dremel tool and a small cutting wheel. Smoktech now produces pre-punched versions of the carto specifically for tanks with choices of one hole for thinner juices and three holes for thicker, high VG content juices. J-Tank works great on the 510 E-Powers or the KGO.

A friend purchased some because of all the hype and asked me to help him setup the delivery system. We punched 2 X 2.5 holes in a Smok Tech 1.7 carto using a Kgo. Vaped great BUT in cooler weather wicking was a problem. We then punched the holes to 3 mm and all was good BUT on a hot day in the sun it wicked too much so he ended up with 2 diff sized cartos for hot and cold weather.

I've been using e powers for months now. I got them through a co op about 8 months ago. I go back and forth between the 14650 and the 1860. I use 1.2-1.5 Dual coils with them, never an issue!! Loved my Rivas to death, literally, but I was going through them very quickly, dual coils probably shorten life span considerably, too expensive to replace as often as I was, AND to always keep three on hand. With the epower, I just order another battery every time I order more cartos. I don't notice the few extra buck, and I have plenty of firepower!!

I never use the cone as it seems block air holes resulting in a tight draw. Same with my Don...I had to modify the connector to get a better draw. Looks are one thing but performance is more important to me.

I am experimenting with the vaping without the cone.. its interesting how you get more smoke and its more easy to take the drag. How many people here prefer with or without the cone? just curious..

Also i seem to love these cartos over dripping.. but i am still experimenting with everything.

JQ, the vendor site sweet-vapes recommends the sr stardust over the lr for the kgo due to its higher voltage output, so I gave it a go. They do work...the flavor is fuller on them than the lr resurrectors (maybe due to resurrectors have filler). The vapor was less but abundant on the sr stardust. The th was strong. The draw is tight. My throat just got irritated faster using them, so Im going to try thr lr stardust in their upgraded plastic longer wicked version.

I like The E-Power 14650 cone with XL and smaller cartos. No noticeable reduction in airflow. It works like a muffler with all of that Smoktech LR carto hiss, snap, crackle and pop. It also makes it easier to pull the E-Power out of my Levi's pocket: won't catch on the pocket edge seams with the cone on.

The only time I don't use the cone right now is when the E-Power is used in 90-degree plus temperatures. The cartos run much cooler without the cone covering them.

for the first time tonight at the bar, using the epower it seemed that my carto ran low, i notice a smoke smell, similar than that of the time when i ran a carto with nothing in it from when i first bought the kit. at any rate, i was worried to refill it in fear that i messed it up.. but after a refile, it seems to be ok, the smoke smell is gone.. now i know to refile before it gets to that point.. but it happened pretty quick..

hold that thought, and not to get off subject but on another note i was wondering. is there any money in opening up an ecig shop? there is a store front available for lease in my area, i know the owner.. i wonder if i can open an ecig shop and sell and make a profit doing it... any thoughts? i mean the local gas stations sell over priced junk compared to this epower..

If ya using the Resurrector XL cartos, they need a LOT of juice. Not just a couple of ml's.

Andrew has said they can take upwards of 70-80 drops...although I doubt many peeps have that kind of patience. ;)

Here's some vids I watched recently that helped me out:

Personally, I think that the successful shops that sell good gear at reasonable prices are probably offshoots of web businesses. Madvapes opened a storefront few months ago. I suspect they did it because they got tired of people dropping by and interrupting what they are doing. To my embarrassment, I've never been there even though it's only about 80 miles away. I understand they charge higher prices in the store. I'll bet they still make the bulk of their money from internet sales though.

Long term, it's going to be very difficult for a storefront to compete by itself. Right now, they can make it by charging much higher prices. However, that's a make it now and get out strategy. Your customers are going to be mostly first time users that don't know a lot and they are either going give up or they are going to find out about the variety and prices on the web and they are gone. You can't count on a lot of repeat business except when someone's in a pinch.

Yeah, there is a vape store in town here. How do I explain them...hmm. It seems like a hipster joint.
Very little selection and mostly the "e-cig" sort of gear and the prices are silly if you ask me.

Like this:

WHAAAAT!??

Now, you know why I'm soooo happy I found this place before I went vape gear shopping for the first time. :)

I can say I just bought both 11 days ago an I like the Kgo better. The ease an simplicity of the kgo is so much nicer. Everything EGO fits it where with the epower is doesn't except for the new epower. And I also like being able to carry a much smaller charger with me to work, an charging the kgo takes about half the time as opposed to the epower. Also the button on my epower is constantly sticking on. But one thing I do like about the epower is the size is bigger and feels allot better in my hand.
