Indeed, I haven't even got the kit yet and I'm excited as all get out...heheh.

I'll be able to compare them too as the kit comes with a 5pk of regular pre-filled cartos as well as the 5pk of the Resurectors.

Bonus as well; insurance for the free shipping on my $60 order was only $1.75...that's crazy good. That way, everyone is covered in case of FUBAR. :)

I'd just toss the burned carto, Joe. It isn't worth the trouble. You will burn a couple more LR cartos as the learning curve proceeds. For instance, once you are vaping consistently you will need to figure out how long you vape to use up 1 ml of juice or so (about 25-30 drops of 70-30 PG/VG). That's when you should refill. I vape the XL cartos 5-6 hours at my pace before I remove the carto and replace it with one that is fully filled.

Thanks Yzer.. i guess your right, at the end of the day its a learning experience.. I think the cartridges are supposed to be pre filled with tobacco, but it just looks like they are bone dry.. weird.. i told the guy if they were not pre filled, i actually dont mind.. i am just so happy with this thing.. i am getting the local gas station mini mart owner to start selling these things..

i almost forgot, when using atomizer and drip tip do i just add 2 drops or so when needed? its a pain but it does burn nice ..

and if i use the cartridges ( i really think mine are empty) it was supposed to be prefilled but it does not look like it from my visual inspection.. but anyway to fill the cartridges i would guess 10 drops or so?

but it looks like i will just be using the Resurrector for awhile, very good and i also like just using the drip tip and atomizer..

the only negative with the drip tip and the Resurrector is the long length, but it does look cool.. but i can see why some will just use the standard plug and not the drip tip with the Resurrector..

Joe, don't even mess with those cartridges. They aren't worth spit. Toss them out. They're a waste of juice. Hear me now, believe me later. If you're thinking about using them in a pinch if you run out of cartos, don't. If that happens, shame on you, but you'd be better off using your atomizer and dripping. You can drip straight through the drip tip. That's why it's called a drip tip.

yea thats what i did and it worked great.. thanks for the info, i will not use the cartridges at all.. right now i am using my 2nd Resurrector and this time i did it right.. no burn at all.. i used the condom filled about twice so it was 50 or so drops.

i am going back and forth between drip tip and atomizer and just the Resurrector with drip tip. so far i love both, but i like the idea of setting the Resurrector and not having to worry for awhile.. the drip tip and atomizer seems like a home run for tesing different flavors..

i am so happy with this thing.. far beyond what i expected.. Thanks everyone for your help.. i love this forum ..

just noticed my second battery is already charged, light is green.. i guess i should take it out not that it would matter, but as i am here looking at it being green i think it would be safe to just remove it..

You should take the battery out as soon as possible after it's charged. Not good to leave a charged battery in there. It's also best to swap batteries as often as you can or is convenient. That way, you're always vaping at the highest voltage possible and the less you drain a battery, the better it is for it.

Yeah, it's Li-Ion just like a laptop...and ya know what happens when those get dead.

I wish I could use my Maha C-9000 chager on PV batts on account of the advanced technology and charging options it has...but it's for NiMH.

The single cell YL-103A charger that Smoktech provides with E-Power 14650 is a nice charger.

I run my 14650 batts down to 3.2V before charging them. It takes the YL-103A about 7 hours to charge the 14650 from 3.2V to full charge of about 4.13 to 4.20V. I have six of these chargers and each one displays a solid (not flashing) green LED light at slightly different values. Some are 4.13V, some are 4.17V and one is 4.20V.

You should remove the 14650 battery within an hour after the charger LED goes solid green. If you don't, the charger will continue to use a slow trickle charge until the overcharge safety circuit included with the protected 14650 battery shuts off charging to prevent damage to the battery.

It's better to not trust that back-up overcharge protection on the battery. Take the battery off the charger within an hour after the light goes solid green.

The single cell YL-103A chargers are slow but the are comparatively gentle to the battery while charging and don't heat them a lot.

Yeah, I have the same charger, a C-9000. What a great charger that is! I can't believe they don't make one for lithiums. I also have a Maha C777 Plus universal charger, that's now discontinued and unavailable. It does lithiums, but they have to be in a carrier. I have a carrier with four parallel 18650s I use for a bike light and it works great with that, but it's too much hassle to do one or two at a time. Plus, it takes forever.

fin thing is amazing. just got done cleaning my room, sat down and took some puffs, this is so great.. anyway .. so i guess i should swap batteries, but if my current battery is only down 10% from full , is it a good idea to charge it> i thought it was good to have it go down before charge.. or do i have that wrong, keep charged as much as possible..

sorry for all the questions, i hope i am not a bother..

i will use this current battery until tomorrow, ill swap it at that point in the morning at work.. I love the box this epower came with, but i found a pouch that i am going to use as my case.. i like the epower box but, its only good for home storage.. i have this cool little case that will work nice for taking this thing to work.. i want to have all the backup items with me at work.

The 14650 batteries last me 24 hrs on average between charges. That's my usage at my pace. Includes 8 hrs rack time per day.

E-Power 14650 will provide regulated 3.7V (no load) for about 23 of those vaping hours. Regulated 3.7V ends when the 14650 battery voltage drops below 3.7V. Once that happens the 14650 battery is getting tired and it will drop down to 3.2V within the next hour or so of vaping. Once the battery hits 3.2V the low battery signal will flash on the E-Power 14650 button. That's when I change out the battery. Within minutes after after that the E-Power 14650 will refuse to fire unless you change out the battery.

I figure there is a good reason the low battery signal appears at 3.2V.

I continue to vape for that last hour when the battery is falling from 3.7V to 3.2V. The hit is a little light and airy. If I want a stronger hit I'll just swap out batts after I notice unregulated voltage.
