Ok, so I've been reading about tanks... Excuse me if my pics are a bit low on quality, but here goes!
Someone said the D-Base tank is just a carto tank. But the Killer is supposed to work in "just a carto tank".
I've tried Siam Mods caps + pyrex tank, works and looks beautifully, but the caps are way too tight to slip the killer through there. Thank god the caps are not to tight on the pyrex tube so it allows for a smooth setting of the juice flow.
Then I went with the D-Base.
Cons:
-Plastic tank, need to be careful what juice to put in there.
-Caps a re VERY tight on the tank, getting in the way of just popping the base cape to fill the tank the way it is supposed to.
Pros:
-Grip on Killer is about right to fiddle with juice control and adjust or lock the killer in dipper mode.
-Amazing looks
The only tank I found that had added value for the killer set-up was the GV telescopic tank:
Cons:
-Plastic tank, need to be careful what juice to put in there.
-Be careful with the engravings on the base caps, it makes a rough surface that may scratch your MOD while adjusting,
Pros:
-Screw-in bottom cap, allowing your setting of the juice flow to be kept at all times.
-Grip on the killer is perfect to either regulate the juice flow, slide it in closed/dripper mode or tighten the dripper further on the mod.
-Telescopic, killer and tank can be extended for larger capacity.
-It's a matter of taste, but I think it looks amazing on the 69!
All in all I like all setups, I would rather see pyrex options for the GV/D-Base but as far as which tank to use is just a matter of taste and habit...
