I really want one of these to put in my new Zen II CT......but Im on the fence......

All I can tell you is that I have a Killer in my Zen 2 CT and love it...so much so I got a second Killer and Zen 2 CT:laugh: They are perfect for out and about and no syringe needed to fill....

Well I think i've figured out my Killer issues that I was having that made me put it down for a bit. I was just using too much wick, thinking that more wick is probably better, which isn't always the case I guess. Made up a setup where I pulled the loop around the bottom pretty tight to the post, then cut the two tails to the same length as the bottom of the cup. Tossed it in and it's vaping like a champ again. Cause I wasn't so sure it would work out well and didn't want to waste any juice I made a random mix of little bits from about 5 bottles that were nearly empty, and it's SUPER good lol. Too bad I probably can't make it again.

So some of you may have seen a few previous post of mine in which I mentioned using FC-2000 Ceramic wicks in the Killer. The result was fantastically clean flavor and almost the same performance I have come to expect from the killer. This rig did have a tendency to give the odd dry-hit when chain vaping, but other then that it worked well enough for me to recommend trying it.

Anyone who has ever played around with ceramic wicks has surely broken a few, and if they are a pack-rat like I am they would have saved the pieces; I would not recommend breaking an intact FC-2000 to try this, simply because I'm not convinced its worth breaking one that could be used in a genesis atomizer. If you have plenty and could stand to sacrifice one and really want to try this... well that's your call.

You will need:
Resistance wire (32g)
Non-resistance wire (32g)
2 x 3" lengths of silica wick (3mm)
1 x 5-6mm piece of FC-2000 (1/8th)

1. Start by joining your non-resistance leads to your resistance wire, but make the non-resistance leads longer then you normally might. This is so you can tie the top length of silica down to the top of the ceramic.

2. Wrap your coil around your section of ceramic. I recommend hot wrapping, so it's best to wrap your coil on the ceramic wick before you cut it to size. You want to end up with the coil on about 5-6mm of ceramic wick, or about the width of the ceramic cup that holds the assembly.

3. Place one length of silica on the ceramic coil so that the coil is centered. Wrap your non-resistance leads around it and back down so that the silica is firmly held to one side of the coil.

4. Feed your non-resistance leads through the holes in the ceramic cup but don't pull them all the way through yet. Before pulling it down, slide a length(s) (however many it take to fill the slots, based on what size you are using) of silica into the slots in the ceramic cup. Then you can pull the coil all the way down to rest on the top of the cup/silica. You should have something like this:

5. Next, trim the silica to such a length that it will fit properly into the bottom section of the Killer - that part that houses the ceramic cup assembly. Pinch the silica to the side of the cup, and slide the assembly into place on the positive post. It should look like this:

That's about all there is to it. Good luck and let me know what you think.

Does anyone know where to get another bottom connector?or if the clone connectors work?

The killer connector works on the terminator clone but not vice versa for some reason, at least not on mine. The clone connector won't screw on all the way to cover the juice hole on the Killer.

Can't seem to get the cups I bought to fit on the pin in my killer... In fact if I don't press down on a hard surface the pin just pops out completely. Tried two different cups so far.

Frustrated and my fingers hurt

I screw mine on an old ego to keep the pin from coming out while I press the cup in. When my fingers get sore then I use my counter top to press it in.

What gauge are you using for your NR wire. Also not all cups are created equal , I have about 20 ceramic cups and about 4-5 of them are quite lose and almost fall off and around same number for ones that I need to use a hard surface to get on. It seems a little random as to how lose or tight they'll be , just order more of them , they're pretty cheap.

Did the freezer trick work? My killer is stuck in the top cap.....

Darn it, again, Ive got blisters on me fingers. I had my Odysseus top cap stuck on the clear tank for a few days and the blisters healed up, Now Ive got new ones from trying to get these lettle parts apart. Swollen, I just cant do it. I wonder if I put them in the freezer it might constrict the parts enough to loosen it. Tried pouring a tiny bit of juice with no avail.
