Atomizer:
Your atomizer should always be humid and not dry. If it is too humid, just blow the liquid out of it. If it is too dry (burned taste, no vapor), drop one drop of liquid onto the atomizer, then put a cartridge.

Tutorial: How to extract liquid from a cartridge.
take a fresh (or some ) cartridge(s) and take out the tissue(s) with a pencil
put the tissue in a normal syringe you can buy at the local drugstore (the ones without the needle of course!)
push the syringe empty into a recipient such as a small glass container used for eardrops (rince well before using!)
now use the ear drops bottle's "pipette" to control a few (max 2) drops of liquids to fall on the atomizer.
Your atomizer is humid now.
from here on you have 2 choices:
1. you smoke with a dummy for 16 puffs and then drop 2 more drops of liquid (repeat).
2. put a normal cartridge and smoke the cartridge

@Ruyan/Ludo, you still didn't answer my previous question.
Since you said the batch 3 and batch 4 parts are not 100% compatible and we should keep parts from different batches separate, I was wondering what parts we are going to receive ? will it only be replacement to the faulty switches, even if they're not compatible with the batch 3 parts ? or are we supposed to get a complete new kissbox from batch 4 since the parts are not fully compatible ?
Thanks.

@Sanneke, kakaroto: This should indeed stay a forum not a public e-mail address, (the moderators would not like to see this happen too I recon) please send mails to info@jantyshop.com as I do not always check the forums or even messages in PB on forums. Thank you for your understanding.

Why Janty do not sell Liquid?
Because shipping of liquid is NOT ACCEPTED by UPS, TNT, DHL etc.

I had my Kissbox (v. 3.0) now for about a week.. Following are my impressions until now. Because this is my first e-cigarette, it would be nice if someone could tell me if that's normal or if I have a broken part

The vapor seams not to be much. I heard that it should be great compared to other e-cigs, but I'm only getting half of the smoke volume I get from regular cigs. It seems to "degrade" too - After some smoking, the vapor gets less and less, until it reaches about a quarter of the smoke volume of a real cig. I first thought it's the battery, changed it, no improvement. Then I tought it's the cartridge, pulled it out but it was still quite wet.. I still changed the catridge, just to be sure, and got the normal smoke volume back, but it diddn't last very long and soon I was back at the quarter volume. On the other hand, it seems to last quite long.. I smoke(d) a pack a day and now I alternate between real and e-cigs. I got the Kissbox tuesday evening (AFAIR) and I'm still using the second cartridge (but on the weekend, I nearly only used real cigs, so that makes it about 3.5 days with one cartridge used for about 50% and another one still in use).

I tried two different cartridges until now.. One out of an light broun pack without any notice which taste it might be (high) and one out of a dark brown pack with adhesive tape on it which had "RY4" written on it, I assume that's Ruyan No 4 (medium).
The light brown cartridge feeled just like air. I could sense a really, really light taste of something minty, but it was way too light for me - I wouldn't even be sure that I sensed it if I diddn't get a bit liquid on my first try (I think I drew too strong.. Like I'm used to from normal cigs). Also, I diddn't feel the vapor. As I said, it feeled just like air and if I diddn't exhale a bit vapor which I could see with my eyes, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. I also got no nic-hit at all. Sure, the craving for a cig went away, but only for a short time. Impression: Not impressed.
The Ruyan No 4 was better. I feeled it hitting my throat and it made the craving go away for longer (which is quite weird, because it was a medium cartridge and the other one's a high one..). The Taste is slightly stronger, but it's nowhere near tobacco in my opinion (but I don't know if RY4 is supposed to taste like tobacco). It's also a bit too sweet. I prefer the taste over the one from the other cartridge, but I don't really like it either.

Then.. I got the dry throath which many complayned about (much drinking doesn't help.. I usually drink about 3 litres a day, probably more now because it's so fsking hot) but I diddn't think much of it. But at the same time, my right ear started to hurt (about the same way it would if I had an infection, but it nearly went away now, so I doubt that was it). This could have many other causes and it could just be a coincidence (sp?) that it happened at the same time, though.

One thing I would wish is that the batteries were marked (with '1' and '2') because I keep confusing them with each other so I never know which one is the fully loaded and which one isn't. This may not be a problem for many, but I carry it around disassembled, so this is a bit of an issue for me.

I will probably keep alterating between normal- and e-cigs, and maybe try the liquid from freesmoke (initially I diddn't want to use liquid because of the risks of it (if it gets on your hand or something like that) but after tasting those cartridges, I'm not so sure anymore). The taste of some of the other cartridges or some sort of liquid might convince me to go from half-e-smoking to full-e-smoking

PS: I tend to be a bit too much negative when I review something - everyone in the process of deciding which e-cig to buy should also read what other people said.

You just might have overdosed on nicotine -- even if it doesn't seem possible. With e-smoking, we don't get the feedback we're used to from tobacco cigarettes. There's no "jolt" and instant gratification. It's faster-acting than absorbing nicotine through the mouth or skin with Big Pharma products, but inferior to smoking a real cigarette with its 7-second brain time bomb.

I suggest nicotine overdose based on, of all things, your ear complaint. Among the ingredients in tobacco smoke, it is nicotine that hammers your circulatory system. Heart rate, blood pressure, restricted blood flow through narrowed arteries. And what happens if you overdose on cigarettes? You get dizzy, your vision blurs, your ears ring, your fingers tingle. Why? The blood flow to those areas has been restricted by the nicotine impact. The tiny arteries that serve your ears will narrow and send out a pain message if you overdose. If your brain is denied adequate blood flow, it can't function right and you become light-headed. Dizziness, headache or nausea is the brain's way of saying "Cut it out!"

Our e-smoking-nicotine is sneaky. We puff non-stop, all day, and really don't ever feel what a single drag of a commercial cigarette produces. But chances are our blood nicotine level is as high as any cigarette smokers. We have the nicotine; we have the consequences; we don't have the pleasure.

Yes, the world is unfair sometimes.

I also thought about that, but I don't think it's the reason - I almost counted the seconds while e-smoking to not overdose it :) I think it's more a coincidence.. I think I accidentally scratched the outer ear canal in one of the rougher cleaning sessions (I produce more wax than most people resulting in situations where I'm practically deaf)
well, maybe, it's both :)
Couldn't we mix a chemical (yes I know, chemicals are bad, mmkay) in the Liquid to get it to absorb faster and still get the kick? It would then probably need a bit more flavoring, but that wouldn't hurt too much..

eeh, anyway, getting offtopic :)

or use small bottles like e-cig.com is doing...

@Ruyan : well, it was a question that would benefit the general public, so I asked it in the forums.. I'm also pretty sure that I'll get an answer from you on the forums 10 times faster than by emailing Harry :p He just seems to be too busy to answer my emails...
Anyways, I'll try to keep my questions through emails.
Thanks.

@Klaue : your smoke problems are like mine, and as I suggested before, it should work much better if you remove the cardridge.. try smoking the e-cig with no cardridge (and even without the mouthpiece) until it dries out, you'll see a lot more smoke like this... and it will have more substance and you'll feel the nicotine better.
Your ear problem is probably a coincidence, but I'm no expert, so don't trust me :p
Just a note, for the batteries problem, I don't have it, since I ordered one black and one titanium... Maybe you could do that for your next order.

We do not support illegal imports for several obvious reasons. We cannot export any of the below ideas, or we will be blacklisted at customs. We do not think it is a good idea for customers to store liquids, for hygienic reasons, for reasons of control of usage and for legal reasons. We do not mind however if you extract the liquid from 1 JANTY cartridge at a time, into a recipient and pour 2 or 3 drops at a time, directly on the atomizer. Keep the recipient (and cartridges for that matter) in the dark and keep it dry and not above 30°c.

Buying liquid in large quantities in bottles or other recipients, storing it and using it comes with health risks and is really not much cheaper then using our cartridges, especially considering the quality of these liquids that can be purchased on the internet.

I cannot prevent you from doing what you want to do, but we WILL find residues of bad cheap "uncontrolled administered " liquids in returned cloaked atomizers

We have seen this many times in The Netherlands, we've seen all these ideas on the forums... now everyone is back to using cartridges, it's just too much hassle to be dripping liquid in a bar and it kind of looks... clumsy. At home, sure no problem, use the Janty cartridges (one by one, do not store too much liquid because opening and closing the bottle, etc will contaminate the liquid eventually).

We are working on a professional liquid administering cartridge which will not work with tissue, till then....

Then you should provide WAY more tastes. 7, out of which 4 try to copy tobacco flavor, are just not enough. I would happily only buy cartridges, but the two flavors I tried until now are just not worth it and I don't really think the other ones are so much better.
Also, you should probably go down with the price. for me, that's not an issue right now, but many buy liquid because it's cheaper.
