what's the difference between a 'kissbox' and a normal e-cig? like an njoy?

I dont understand what the big hype is, my njoy works pretty much perfectly, so i dont see how this could be THAT much better. but i'm curious why you think it is

There's a huge difference.

You'll know the difference after you tried the njoy and the kiss.

And yes, it's THAT much better.

Kissbox is a brand name for two Janty e-cigs, the Classic penstyle and the Yentl Supermini. There are earlier models of the Classic and Yentl still available from Janty. KISS stands for Keep It Simple, Stupid and is, I believe, a widely used term by designers of anything. They're both excellent products but pricy. I suppose the most obvious examples of difference between the KB classic and your NJOY (assume it's a Penstyle) are the USB cable (smoke it at your computer without a standard battery) and the manual switch, which allows you to manually control the atomiser. There are lots of other differences but they're to a greater or lesser degree subjective.

Thanks for this, I just posted this in another post.

Do you believe the difference between the Yentl and the Kissbox Yentel ($45.00) is worth it then?

I never will try both, because I dont see the need to buy that many e-cigs lol. I just wanted some opinions on why people think it's better. =)

I get the hit feeling in my throat with the njoy, LOTS of vapor, extremely easy to draw on, feels identical almost to a cig to me.. the only thing I can think of is the atomizer doesnt die quickly with those? Cause as for normal use, my njoy is flawless. Not sure how these things can be THAT much better

oh well!

Thanks! The USB though, seems completely useless to me. I dont even like using wired HEADPHONES, why would I want a wired cigarette? lol. that would annoy me so much! As for the manual, I never fully understood what this was for. Why would you want to click a button and then draw, when you can just draw? Is there a reason for it? explain! hehe

You can depress the manual button, hold it a second or two, and really boost the vapor output. It's like turbocharging a car. I'm happy with the auto switch on my Janty, but when I really want a blast, I'll put on the manual, rev it up, and inhale. Lots more vapor. Lots.

The USB cord/battery is immensely useful to anyone who works at a computer all day. No more patting your pocket to make sure you have several charged batteries before leaving for work. Your e-cig is always ready, beside your computer. If you don't need that feature, it would mean nothing at all to you except additional expense.

That's something no one can answer for you but yourself. The generic DSE901 puts out plenty of smoke. The Njoy even more, and the KISSbox and Sedansa more still. But does it really matter? If you get enough nicotine, the rest is basically for show, and for psychological satisfaction. For me, I like seeing a thick billowing cloud of vapor. And the bigger the better.

I don't have the original Yentyl for comparison, but I have not heard anything about the atomizer being updated, so I think the difference is pretty much in the batteries.

The vacuum switch in the automatic battery is supposed to be improved versus earlier batteries, and I can vouch that it's the best super-mini type battery I've used. The ease of draw and responsiveness is comparable to Njoy pensize batteries. The manual battery is another nice option, giving you a bit more control over your atomizer.

It's like I was saying above. The original would probably do well enough, but the KISSbox is better. Whether that difference is worth it is up to you.

They were selling the Kissbox when I got on this crazy locomotive and I thought, if I'm going brand, I might as well get their best. There was a real buzz about the KBs at the time (they'd just started shipping). The buzz kinda died back a bit because the early ones were very prone to failure (I have both KBs and both needed multiple parts replacement). Since batch 4, however, the tech has smoothed out, the buzz has come back and nearly everyone who has one swears by them. I think it's a great piece of kit.

Doesn't Turkey ban both the importation and use of these? If that's so, you're trying to obtain an illegal device and substance. No wonder you are having problems. I feel for you, Norminall, because I have come to depend on these, but at least my country hasn't yet said I can't own or use them. Yours either has or has made its intentions clear -- no electronic smoking devices allowed.

Yes TB..
It is forbidden here.
But.. till today i have bought many ecigs via experess shipment companies. they was coming to me in a week or maximum 10 days. you know its called courier.
But kissbox had sent to me via cheap way. I waited it 25 days. and these posts goes directly to the govermnent post office. so they see that it is electronic cigratte and do not let. so the parcel goes back...

I see..
I understand now.
Thank you TrpicalBob..
Best wishes..

And something else TB,
Here in Turkey you can find Ruyan brand in pharmacy. they are imprting. and they do not want someone else buy from the out.
So they made the goverment ban other ecigs sayign that they are not healty.
it is not absoluty forbidden here.
The goverment says that you can buy from outside the conutry. but the ecig waits in the custom till you bring the permission from the goverment. you should go to the capital. and try to take permission. it is very long way...
it is the same if you buy 1000 ecig or 1 ecig..
I hope you understand me..
there is no way to life in this conutry other than finding your sipecial way..

I went back to a magazine article I wrote on e-smoking last January, and pulled this from it. I'm betting this is still applicable to your situation:

In Turkey, Democratic Society Party (DTP) Sirnak deputy Hasip Kaplan asked Parliament to ban even using an e-smoking device.

“Under the law, smoking is prohibited in schools and hospitals," Kaplan is reported by Turkish newspapers to have said, "but such a prohibition is not valid for electronic cigarettes. Imagine a person who walks along the corridors of a school with an e-cigarette in his hand. Why do we deceive ourselves? It is claimed that e-cigarettes increase the risk of addiction because of their high levels of nicotine. We need to ban the usage of such devices.”

Also in January, a Dutch newspaper reported that the authorities in Belgium have forced the withdrawal of the Ruyan e-smoking devices for sale in that country.

Federaal Agentschap voor Geneesmiddelen en Gezondheidsproducten (FAGG), the Belgian federal agency for medicines and health products, ordered the removal because the devices contain nicotine and thus fall under its remit.

Ruyan is reported to have said it had sold about 4,000 units in six months of sales by the vendor Densom. Densom told Dutch authorities the devices were simply an alternative to cigarettes. "Not so," said An Eeckhout of FAGG. "As soon as nicotine is an ingredient, it becomes a medicine."
