Their you go Kate the Oriental wasn't that bad after all was it . All the switches and atomiser do tend to wear off being as lively after a few weeks of use.
I had one auto switch worked when it felt like it and sometimes the manual switch tends to need a harder push after the a few weeks to.
This is when I tend to send them back for replacements which they always honour with the guarantee.
Because I have the four units two of these which I don't use much and keep as spares enable me to test against the well used ones and this tends to tell me which part is fading and to get replaced.

Kit, I really think the quality control issues are largely history for Janty. I have only my own Janty Kissbox to speak of, but it's been in use non-stop for six weeks without any issues. The manual switch and USB cord, both early problems for Janty, are in fourth revision and working perfectly. We can't do company comparisons, but I bet current Kissbox products are superior to anything available. Mine is just so good compared to the crap I used for a few months. If you ever get a Janty, you'll never look back or question again. Just my opinion, mind you. :)

Well at least I won't have to pay to replace it if it breaks and I have plenty of backups to tide me over while I wait for a replacement.

The Kissbox is a better quality 'smoke' for me. I've tried a Sedansa Diva and didn't do well with it (could have been my fault ... Sedansa refunded me within the 30 day trial period, no problems there) and I've used generic penstyles which do a pretty good job. The Kissbox (while new at least - time will tell about durability) is the best 'smoke' I've experienced from an ecig. After my Diva experience I thought I wasn't missing much with not having a brand ecig so I stuck with decent generics. I'm glad I gave Janty a try. Even though some people have not very good experiences with buying them and I was shipped a duff battery myself, I think that it might be cheaper and a better quality 'smoke' with guaranteed replacements.

I wouldn't recommend to a newbie to start with a brand ecig, I think a decent generic is enough to pay for to see if the experience is a good one for you. However, for those who do get a taste for vapour it might be worth considering a brand name with a decent guarantee and trial period as an investment. You would then also have a generic as a backup if anything goes wrong (which, of course we know it probably will!). I'm sorry to say that quality control for Janty (Europe) is not an issue of the past, I was sent a duff battery.

On another note, Janty sent me some cartridges marked 'W', can someone tell me which flavour that is please? I remember reading a post once where someone had listed Janty's flavour codes but I can't find it. Thanks.

I might be a good idea for Janty to post explanations of these codes in a prominent place on their websites. I often have no idea what these markings represent....

Sanneke, the packaging the cartridges come in only has a code to identify flavour, not always the full word. For example, I have a boxes marked W, RY4, Ori and mint. I guessed that Ori was oriental, RY4 and mint are what they say they are but I didn't know that W was marlboro flavour. They use other codes too but I don't know what they are.

Their descriptions of taste do not match my perception of the flavours either.

Katink I got new carts yesterday, they are totally different, they do not turn brown anymore, they stay white as snow, I have used the same cart for a day and a half now, I just keep adding their liquid, NOTE: Janty liquid, and the cart stays fresh.
I'm just amazed.

I just love the new carts and liquid.
So far janty usa only have 2, but more to come next week, I believe.....

Harry replied today to an email I sent two days ago saying they will send me a replacement battery and automatic switch for the duff ones I have. Maybe Janty Europe are getting on top of their aftersales service, I wasn't expecting replacements to be easy after what others have said about them.

I've ordered a spare atomiser, manual switch and a usb cord. I wasn't going to try the usb connection because I don't like the idea of being attached to anything, I prefer to be cordless. I've read that they are good though so thought I'd give it a go. It was that or a couple of spare batteries anyway. I ordered a couple of new flavours too, vanilla and chocolate. I hope they're yummy, I want to like Janty eliquid because it's supposed to be good stuff. Ludo has posted the ingredients list on the forum, they have lab tested it for toxicity and Knutselpeter's residue test gave a good result.

Just one thing I've noticed with my Kissbox, with a new cartridge, fresh battery and manual switch it gives great vapour for a few puffs. Then it gets a bit wimpy. I'm sure it's me and my technique but I can't seem to put my finger on what I'm doing wrong. I noticed that if I draw more slowly the vapour is better. Does anyone else have experience of this with a Kissbox? If so, were you able to resolve it? Any experienced esmokers with suggestions? Cheers.
