I've vaped through hundreds of cartos with no burning for 4 months now. Not one carto has "died", I switch around and refill with "like" flavors. We're fans for a reason. I loved my 510 until I got tired of the fiddling between vapes and dripping got old home OR away.

I've converted people at work with the KR808D that would not have made it with the 510! (They watched me!) It's a simple go-to device that vapes a long time...

Everyone has their favorites, nobody's bashing anyone for that...

From what I understand, they're basically the same, just different models? The LeCig D1 is what was recommended to me when I started out. Everything is compatible with the KR808. I did read somewhere that the D1 batteries were an improvement. All I know for sure is, I'm happy and have bought other accessories that work with it.

I have tried just about everything out there, the 510 is hands down the best atomizer. That being said, the 808 cartomizers are the best way to vape. No dripping, no filler material worries, no mess, none of that. Using Taryn's spin method I am easily able to get a solid 30 drops of liquid into each cartomizer. They are durable as well, I usually go through 5-7 refills before tossing a cartomizers, so that'd be 150-210 drops of liquid per cartomizer. Definitely the way to go if you ask me.

I use both everyday, The KR works great for a quick toot or driving, when I can't drip. Or in anyplace I don't want to get looked at like I loading a one hitter. I love my 510 though, seems to deliver the most consitantly. As far a Vapor goes the 510 seems to be the better choice. Carto's on the KR seem to vary from cart to cart for vapor. The KR is way easier to switch flavors on, which is a big plus. If your talking about cost saving I would have to say you can make a bottle last longer with a 510. My wife swears by her 510, I still carry both of them in my pocket everyday.

LOL funny you should mention that one hitter bit, I actually had a bit of an interaction with the law for that very same reason, funny stuff!

To the op: I've just done a side by side comparison with my 510 and 808. 510 at 3.7v is better for vapor and flavor, but at 6v cartomizers are king.

You can just get 3 or 4 510 batteries, buy an 808 adapter, and a few cartomizers to try yourself. It's all relatively cheap.

For those that have tried or use both, how do you find the amount of vapor production and the "thickness" of vapor differs between the two? I'm someone who is looking for the most smoke-like vapor and don't mind to fiddle, just want some opinions to make sure the 510 suits me better before I invest in more parts.
Based on your stated criteria, the Joye510. More vapor than any other e-cig (with the possible exception of GreenCig cartomizers on Kr8 automatic batteries).

I'm happy with the 510 and have 4 batteries but I think I will try the 808 adapter and buy some cartomizers. Any idea where I should get them from?
