Where can I get that smiley? A friend of mine had an incident on a treadmill and of course we can't let her live it down and I would love to send that to her. She is still laughing at herself!!! Of course we have to laugh with her. I'll have to remember to ask her if she destroyed the gym's video tape LMAO!

Right click the smiley and either save to your photo program or just download.

Everyone seems to be doing great and making strides towards better health and a better life!

Today is another 13/14 hour shift---so I'm taking stairs as much as possible and will prob volunteer to do the late lab run over to the hospital (if I'm not dead lol). Packed yogurts, tangerines and a couple of containers of celery (anyone else like laughing cow wedges? They're awesome) I might grab a quick sandwich at lunch with Dijon mustard no mayo

Have a great and as healthy of a day that you can, everyone!

Oh and my vote is for brown rice hehe :D

SWEET HOME ALABAMA
I just came across this thread, and I congradulate(spelling):toast:
all of you for such a great job at maintaining self-control.
I am in need of food. I have been underweigh for about two
years now.:( I have tried everything to keep weight on.
Nothing works, even drinking milkshake before bed, didn't work.
So I have the oppisite problem. Maybe I should find A different
thread for this?? Just teasing.
Keep up the good work. :vapor:

This thread is all about getting fit, healthy and happy!:)
Are you very active?
Without knowing much the only thing I could suggest is meal replacement shakes(make sure they are full of nutrients and calories!!!) going to gnc and looking for a bulk shake is better suited(maybe not yummier) than just an ice cream milkshake:D Good luck girl

I've been pretty good, but not great...I went on some longer walks and have been watching my calories in. Oh, and drinking my water!!!:)
I love reading this thread...like classy said, great cheerleaders in here:D

Hi everyone waving smiley-1.gif

HzG8rGrl, I looked at those numbers for a bm and it was pretty exciting until I realized it was for a thimblefull. Still, one takes me a couple of hours to down and they do fill me up. And, it is a veggie serving.

I confess I have not moved enough this week. Some, but not enough. Nutrition wise not bad except....my new neighbor is bored while she is looking for a job and loves to bake to keep busy. I don't know what to do with peanut butter cookies - neither my husband or I favor pb cookies.

I don't seem to be able to settle into consistency since I retired. I fear that I may have to give up a lot of computer time to establish some sort of routine for health. If I post rather irratically, please forgive me. :)

I originally posted this link in the "What's for Dinner" thread (of all things lol) but wanted to share it with you good ladies here.

Keep your muscles from turning to mush - AmericaNowNews.com

Don't know everyone's age but it would definitely apply to me as I'm 48

Emma-such a great link-lets me know I am doing the right stuff-I'll be 47 this year. The regime I am on seems to be working very well for me and this article just reaffirms my thoughts! Thanks.
