Excellent thread!

I use my lunch to get on treadmill or elliptical machine at work. I have a special k pro shake before I go work out. I've also purchased some kettle bells and DVDs and do those at home. Oh! And im planning on zumba and tae bo too!!

No exercise for me today though...I'm at home sick w a stomach bug & just starting to feel like getting out of bed.

Myfitnesspal.com is excellent!!! They have an app too...I'm setting #5 short term goals at a time until I reach target & then maintain...go ladies!!

Well, encouraged by Fudgey's comment to get up and move my bum, I loosened my knees up on my bike and then went for my walk. dang! I really should do this every day, it felt so good. Also helps that the weather is mid 70s and beautiful. okay, Fudgey, you encouraged me - ball in your court. :)

Tinky, so great to have goals and your enthusiasm should go a long way in succeeding!

Nice to see ya, Dr. Beans. :) Lisa, I think one piece of chocolate is good advice but, I have trouble with just one right now. So happy I picked up some fresh, chewy Viactiv - it really satisfies a chocolate craving for me, especially at night. And I get more calcium. I tell myself this a lot since my DH is constantly baking brownies.

Morning all :) I've been Mia the last week or so but I'm back now........Sorry, I tend to go underground every so often.
I did get 1 hour of hardcore dancing in my kitchen last night :D DH thought I was nuts but it did get my .... moving...I'm even a little sore today too so it must have worked. I just wish DH would take me dancing :( 12 years together this year and we still havent danced in public :(

Good to see you Beans.....The dancing sounds so good. I feel for you my dear. Not going to say how many years  but we have never danced together.

But, But you don"t sound sick. :) You sound full of vim, vigor and vitality. Thank you for the link to check out. Glad to see you here and looking forward to your sharing on our road to getting fit. I hope you get rid of that bug soon.

I think I have maybe lost a whole pound...

Good job Classy. I think I found it if you want it back.

(((((HUGS)))) Thanks ladies :):) I feel better now....tomorrow I should be back to my onery self :p

Cisme.....yes ma'am :D:laugh:

Way to go Classy!!! Losing one is better than gaining one :)

Positive vibes towards your getting back to your onery self Fudgey. I am sure that chocolate would help. I have a hard time with the doldrums particulary in the winter. I hate winter. I did make it out for a walk yesterday and today which helped lift my spirits some. :)

I'm glad you're feeling better Fudgey. Winter is difficult for me too Toto- a little chocolate (just a little if that can be managed) or anything that lets me feel pampered does work wonders.

Got in my 5 minutes of exercise. It was the absolute minimum, and this thread is the only reason i made even 5 minutes of time. thanks ladies :)
