Hi everyone View attachment 77220 WTG Classy and everyone doing so well! I hope to join your ranks....for more than just 3 days. I am having a very difficult time - still - with consistency. Foodwise I do well but routinely exercising seems to be an issue. I'm using this thread as a confessional so I own up to it. :) If that doesn't work, I shall have to think of a more severe, er, incentive.

Well, if 3 days seems to be your timeframe-work with it! Try every other day and when you are ready, you can add another. Sounds like you are on the right track. Keep up the good work :)

Whatever helps you then keep on doing it!!! We are here to help you :):)

I am having a problem with the exercise too :(

Come on Fudgey 10-15 minute increments. I know you can do it with us :)

Well I tried one of the work outs today. I worked out to Walk Away The Pounds with Leslie Sansone. Picked the easiest of the 5 or 6 on there to start. I am SO out of shape. This workout would have been a peace of cake when I was in high school!!! lol
But I had to stop briefly a few times. About half way through I was going to stop completely but then I started the video up again and finished it. It's not a difficult video, but I just need to get in shape. Will improve if I keep doing it I am sure.

Remember not to push yourself to hard in the beginning. You have to allow your body the ability to get acquainted with the change. I know sometimes my brain thinks I can do something and next thing I know my body says nope, you are not going to do that! LMAO

We had a check up with the Cardiologist yesterday and he is very proud of my honey. He asked how we got the weight off. When we told him we cut out all the bread/flour/sugar and ate midrange and lower range from the glycemic index, he said he wished he could do that. I proudly leaned in to him and stated that yes he could, that it is his choice to do so or not. Kinda turned the tables on who got to fuss at who!!!!

Wanna funny, but not funny story………

On the way home tonight we stopped at Stein Mart to get DH some pants and shorts that would fit him. Got home and I said I was going to get on the treadmill and if he would remove all the tags, I would wash them when I came down. I get finished and throw them in the wash, we eat, washer calls me. I open the dang thing and there is paper everywhere and some sticky goo. Blah, blah, blah and he is very sorry-LOL.
I shook and shook to no avail and ended up vacuuming the clothes and washer and floor. I am now rewashing them. I learned a good lesson tonight. If I want it done right-do it myself or double check everything I ask him to do.

Dang Hz...I was just about to congratulate you and your hubby...then I read about the tags..so I'll just congratulate you :D
I agree 100% with everything you posted.

Cisme you are off to a good start. Just a few minutes a few days a week is doable to start. it can build over time.
I didn't do anything today..but if I can do mini workouts 3 days a week I know it will build over time.

You can do it too Fudgey..all you have to do is imagine Hz coming over to kick your .......that'll keep you on the ball :)

waving smiley-1.gif I'm baaaack. :) I confess I haven't done anything yet today and time is running out. Where's that booty kicker? 1, 2 or 3 days is better than nothing but I am capable of more and shouldn't get a pass on this. I can too easily slide into less. I've only got 1 day under my belt this week. :p

I once had a boss that said he would be happy to let me know when I did something not quite right but, I usually discovered it first and was so busy kicking my own .... that he didn't see the need to contribute. I guess the years don't change me much.

Tonights dinner, sticking to the squash theme. Squash is such a wonderful winter vegetable and offers such a range of tastes!

Cooked the same as before. Poke with holes and warm in microwave-1 ½ minutes for the larger squash. Remove and halve. Put into 350 or 400 degree oven and bake for 40-50 minutes total covered for the first half-turn and uncover for the last half. We grilled some Chef Bruce Aidells Italian style Smoked Chicken Sausage. Scooped out the squash with a fork (strands) and mixed in ½ jar of Stonewall Kitchen Tomato Herb Bruschetta. Topped with 2 tbsp of Digiorno 3 Cheese Parmesan, Ramano, Asiago Cheese.
We did have wine with dinner.

Our version of a good Italian Meal.
