Wow orachel,
Thank you for the vast amount of information. I really appreciate it. I think i'm just going to keep the one I have as I use it for a throw away "ish". I work in downtown Portland, Oregon as a garbage man and this will likely get stolen in a few months. I generally get my stuff stolen out of the truck about 3 times a year. I have a ProVari too and I didnt want it to get stolen from my truck. I will keep my eyes open for the stainless version and next time I will order with the warranty. Again this break down helps me a lot and I really like my l-rider lava tube whatever it is and I will be buying it again if it breaks or is stolen.
because I'm lazy I ordered all my aw imr 18650's (2000mah) from provape .. they were like a 1.50 more than lighthound.com but I have had great experience with them and I think they are from the Seattle area.. stuff from provape gets to me in like a day. I have 6 of these but If i get more I will check those you linked out.
Again thanks a lot. You fully rock!

K... going in backward order. lol

Tlmoody... WAY too long, I'd say. Guessing cap wouldn't screw on. I've not tried those, but most IMR batts won't fit in 2200 mah, let alone ICR. Only safe bet for a batt over 2000 mah is the panny hybrid IMR i linked to in post on page 11. Otherwise, if you don't get those panny 18650s, your best bet is AW brand IMR. Imr batts tend to be way shorter than ICR batteries, and honestly, you're not going to get great performance out of those ones, because they aren't designed for a 'high drain' type device like the LT. So moral of the story is Panny 18650 IMR hybrid in 2200 mah, or AW brand IMR 18650s are your two best batt choices right now. Oh, and if you're trying to 'combine' orders to save shipping (which i always try to do) the orbtronic site has free shipping, and the good panny 18650s for $7.99 each, cheaper if you buy 2 or more. Here's link for those... And ooh, hey, they're $2 cheaper each, and also 2200mah (and 2200 mah in the panny will last WAY longer than a 2200mah ICR in the lavatube) so its a good deal all the way around. lol

Troy1troy... Yeah, if you've got a provari, then all bets are off. I really love my metal lt because provari is out of my pricerange, so its a good way for me to have a 'hefty' upscale unit. You've already got one of those, though, so you're in business. lol In your situation, you might wanna go with the chrome update when it comes out in late summer, PURELY for durability reasons, but yeah, sounds like you might need another one by then anyway. Dang pv thieves. lol BTW, ever considered a leather 'holster' that keeps it on your person? They fit in the ones designed for most flashlights, and they have a 'tab' that snaps down over it to keep it in place if you do a ton of bending and whatnot... might keep you from losing so many to theft, cause I know that's gotta be driving you mad. lol And thanks, hon! Boy, ya'll are seriously good for the ego, lately! rofl Can't find the leather ones I'm thinking of, but here's a ton of nylon ones SUPER cheap and with free shipping. Takes 2-4 weeks from China, but incredible prices at this joint.
http://dx.com/s/flashlight+holster.html?page=1 and aha! Here's some nice leather ones... http://www.copsplus.com/flashlightholders.php

bmarley... GOOD question! I'm about 99% certain it will. Obviously, the charger isn't ideal, so when you get a chance to upgrade it to an XTAR Wp2 II or something ($13 at 310 vapers, or $18 at discount vapers) that would be better, but offhand, don't know any reason why it wouldn't...
Can anyone else answer that? Anyone have both the original 'kit' lavatube charger and a panny 18650 2200mah IMR hybrid to verify 100% certainty that they work together? I tossed mine, so couldn't say with 100% certainty. I'm VERY confident it will, though, since the 'spring' is very springy, and I think it'll hold it in there just fine.

And Master of Dampf... yep, looks like the last few stainless ones are in kits. They do have a stand alone chrome tube option (comes up if you just do a search for 'vtube'), but they're out of stock on the chrome now. GOOD news is you can get the whole stainless KIT for cheaper than you can normally get the stainless tube itself right now, though. There's a 30% off kit thing going on, with code 'vtube30', so you can get a KIT of powdercoated unit for about $54, and a stainless kit for about $20 more... NOrmally the stainless tube itself would be right around $75-$85, so not too shabby. ;) LUCKY timing, and those stainless are going SERIOUSLY fast.

Yeah, me too. lol I think I'm spoiled... don't think I could go back to a lightweight powdercoated pv for anything. I have a Vision tox (just like the black LT) and it really does feel like a toy in comparison. lol So any of you with some moola to spend who absolutely love the vape on your LT... would be killer to take advantage of that 30% off deal right now at apollo on stainless kit. They WILL NOT be made again, so when they're gone, they're gone. Of course, chrome will be available, and in the new internals in just a few mos, so there's that to consider as well. ;)

Thanks for answering for me. Yes, I was trying to save on shipping by ordering from one vendor instead of two. I'll try to panasonic ones you gave the link for.

Love the weight of the SS!!! Epower is like supa light compared...
Yeah, Tell me about it. I remember when I unpacked the eGo and thought "this thing is huge"...lol My wife looked at me like I was nuts with that thing sticking outa my mouth.

Now....We both vape, I have the SS Apollo, Bolt, and others that make the eGo look like a toy:D

I have another lava tube question. My lava tube has a somewhat tighter draw (even with the carto out as far as is manageable) than does my ProVari. This isn't really problem when i have a carto on it that has a very light draw but with a regular carto its not perfect and with a carto that is kinda tight but still okay with the provari, it is to restricted for the LT. Is there a way to loosen this up? is it just because the threads on the 510 connection are a little tighter?

I noticed something similar with my bolt too. If it bothers you enough you could get a 510/510 adapter and see if just adding that helps out. Or you could do what I did on one of my 510/eGo adapters and cut a small slit into the top threads to allow a little more air. Either way, your not modding your device, rather a cheap adapter.

I was thinking along the same lines. I initially wondered if I should try to cut a slit. My fear is that if i cut too much it could cause to much airflow but then again i suppose I could use the adapter after that.
Thanks!

Hey Rachel or anybody- I took my own darned time ordering that Xtar charger from 310 Vapers that you recommended to me, now they are out of stock... :(

Any idea of who else carries that charger or some other decent type (must charge 18650s at the very least)? I'm really tired of dealing with that junker that comes in the kits.

Discount Vapers has it for buck more (no free shipping) but you can get a ton of other stuff there, too. He has the spare 'spacers' for it for .50 cents each (i recommend 2 spares, so even if you want to charge 2 very short batteries, like 18350, you're covered). Also has the Apollo/Excaliber tank...which I am officially a HUGE fan of! Any of you reticent about the 'troubleshooting' required with the ViviNova... these Excaliber (at Vapors Choice, Ecigarettes & Parts) and Apollo tanks (DiscountVapers - Your source for savings on electronic cigarettes and accessories, Go-go eGo, vGo) are AMAZING... fill easily, screw on top, wait a bit... vape... zero messing round troubleshooting, and just killer flavor and vapor for a 'clearo' tank. Plus, thing looks like about a $40 tank.. hefty and gorgeous in stainless steel with a window... VERY durable. Can't imagine how it would be possible for this thing to crack. And we're talking $7-$12 for the tank, $2.50-3.50 for replacement 'guts' so you can switch flavors or replace em when they die. Vapors Choice has them only in the mid 2 ohms, but discount vapers has a few different resistances.

and here's the charger
http://www.discountvapers.com/xtar-wp2-ii-charger/

and here's the E2 apollo/excaliber at best price.. There's a matching battery that goes with it with same shape and wild flashing lights, if anyone is looking for a real techie wild looking 3.7v device. But I'm loving the way it looks on a steel lavatube, too. Nice and shiny and high tech looking.

So just wanted to pop that here in case any were looking and also needing vape gear. ;)

orachel- Been busy and finally got two good nights of sleep. I feel so much better after that. First let me thank you for the Egoscue link. I did a little research on him and his book and DVDs soound like the perfect thing for me. Just have to check with my Doc first.
Well, I love my LT. I am so glad I got it and in chrome also. It looks great. It feels great (heavy, solid feel.) Most importantly, it vapes great. I have been using it with the Vivi Nova tank system and really like that also. Your not going to believe my only problem with the whole thing. It tastes too good. In other words I am getting more true flavor than I ever have before and I'm finding that many of my liquids don't taste too good. I didn't know it before. The way I can tell is the liguids that DO taste good, taste really good. I'm not getting a burnt taste at all, it's just an off-taste if that makes sense. Most of my liquids are tobacco flavored and they all pretty much tasted the same. Now I understand why. I wasn't really tasting them. The few fruit flavors (lemonaide, watermelon, etc.) that I liked now actually taste like those things. Much better but I'm afraid I'm going to have to start paying alot more attention (and probably money too) on the juice I order. So now I need juice advice from you.
I went to the local e-cig store that I just found out about. Prices are pretty high. Selection is only fair. But in an emergency it's better than convienience store throw-aways.
Thanks again for all your help; I really appreciate it!

Oh yay! I hope that egoscue does work well for you, and that your doc gives green light. Its MUCH more effective for people with actual pain caused by a physical issue (like my dad with horrible knees, or my best friend with a really bad back) than with people like me who have 'referred' pain caused by a brain issue. AND its been hugely successful for me, way more so than anything else, so from what I've heard, it really is a magic bullet for a lot of people with major musculo-skeletal issues.

As for the juice thing... I've got just the place. Killer specials (like $10 an ounce) and the best fruit/bakery type flavors ever. And they have super cheap (way cheaper than usual) sample packs, so its a good way to try juices. REALLY doesn't have to be expensive. I never pay full price for their juice, I just watch the weekly specials (5 juices on special every week) and when I run out of my faves before they come back on special, I do the '3 bottle deal' which works out to $12.50 an ounce, or round there. I get a good 90% of my juice from there, and I've turned a bunch of people onto em. If you can't find stuff you love there, I'll be AMAZED. ;) Sending you pm with links and such. And yeah, nice to have that 'emergency' supply place nearby, but that'll cost you a fortune. No good. Plus sounds like they're decent but not amazing... trust me... you can have amazing at a great cost. Oh, and btw, they have nice tobaccos, also. My one vape friend gets most of his tobaccos from there. Not quite on par with maybe the $25 variety, like a pink spot, but pretty darn tasty. I love em. Sent info to ya.
