As i thought, but the device looks very real. But 4.6 amp. hard to believe. yes im able to test amp limit. Im a manager at TV warranty worshop, so i have all equipment i need:)

I gave this some thought after my previous post. Not sure how much influence Volcano has on the name Lt but they are going with a different builder for their new version. That said I believe L-Rider has the original patent on the original LT so it makes sense they could upgrade their LT to gain some market back. It's possible I guess.

How soon do you expect your shipment in? Will be very interesting to hear what they are.

They're out of stock right now but you can sign up for the waiting list. VV 'LavaDude' 3.0 Kit

Young June has been selling a lot of their LT clones with claims of them being 4amp units. So far their have been at least 5 vendors that have had to back off the 4amp claim due to the fact they are actually 3amp units. Be sure you get confirmation from whoever you may want to buy from that they have tested their units and are sure they are as advertised.

Edit: AFIK there are no 4amp Young June or any other brand for that matter,(except VMax @ 5amps) APVs available in the US. If someone knows of any I would like a link.

Wow, that's different. Looks like a Silver Bullet button.

Does anyone have any more info on this? Specs? Release date? Manufacturer?

Seeing how I started this thread I will update:
I went with apollo V-tube, I like it but seeing how I cant compare it to any other VV device that is not saying much. I will be upgrading at some point, but am waiting for the next big thing, sometime in the next 6 months there has to be something new and unexpected out.

Here's the link for that. It should be out within the next few days, so it won't be long before some reviews.
Also, if you can close your eyes for 6 months, I think you'd be pleasantly surprised by what you would find when you opened them. The entire industry is moving forward quite rapidly.

When Volcano introduced the original LavaTube those few days stretched into a couple of months if memory serves me. :)

I've been using the newer Young June version for the last five days and it is really impressing me so far. It has an Apollo SS type top connector but without the floating spring loaded center post. It actually works with the stardusts and other ego specific cartos.

Two things I love so far is that it seems to maintain the output level without the downward power slope like previous versions, i.e. it has a Provari-like constant power level feel to it. The other is that it does not have the zombie mode like the v1.5t's did.

Two things I'm not that happy about are the finish on the buttons (it wears off revealing the black plastic), and the 5-click on has to be done super fast. By this, I mean that you really REALLY have to hit the power button 5 times FAST. Like within a second fast. Are either of these a big deal? Not really.

I would have liked to have the + and - button hold to lock the setting in but it's absence isn't really a big deal. The chrome plated aluminum body is nice and light, and the metal end caps are a big step up from the old plastic ones on the original Lrider lavatube.

The finish overall isn't too bad but I've seen quite a few with small flaws. A dot here or an ugly spot there, not horrible but noticable.

Overall, it's a great backup for my Provari. Technically my Provari is my backup now since I've been running this thing since it came in.

I feel the same about mine, it's great but I have one more issue, the gasket in the 510 connection is crap. It is that super soft clear silicone and will split very easily like mine did using an atomizer with a long positive pole(ie odysseus v2) and short to ground. When this happens you will see "LO" come up on the screen even though the battery is charged up, at this point it is too late and the device is screwed. I was very lucky and my supplier took care of it with no issues what so ever(thanks Canvape) but just be very careful because there is no indication that you are over tightening when it happens. My 510 adapters also caused this issue so just watch it with the long positive posts:) The display on this unit is much better than the 1.5 as well, no issues seeing the characters on this baby.

This is the exact problem I'm having with mine.
Anyone know how one would go about fixing it?

No real "fix" other than wiggling the center post on the device up a hair and pray that the insulator wasn't heavily damaged. If you remove the center post, you could install a new insulator scavenged from another device, but then you'd have to find a way to solder the connection which would be a real PITA.

It is a real PITA...I tried it with alot of failure. Ended up sticking the positive wire up through the 510 connection so it touched the atty when you screw it on and it worked lol. Somehow the wire had some spring to it so it wouldn't get pushed back down each time you screw something on/off.

Still works to this day but don't use it since I got some VMaxes.
