I've been having the same "looseness" problem with my tank too. It's not leaking as such, but I did dump 5ml of juice on my desk when the bottom of the tank slipped off when I tried to remove a drip tip. I definitely don't think the O-rings are big enough to keep a tight fit. I did however figure out one trick that helps some. Make sure that you have your tank completely clean and dry, when putting it back together. If there's the slightest juice on the tank walls it acts like lubricant, which is why I think my tank came apart. I cleaned and dried it thoroughly and put it back together and it seems a bit snugger now, but still not super tight. I also noticed that these o-rings seem to be very slick rather than rubbery feeling...that may be contributing to it too. It just needs a bit of sticky to give it traction to hold to the tank. Just my thoughts. If Bruce has any better o-rings I'm game to try them.

These may take some fiddling with....... If you are now getting dry hits lift up on the top piece a little.

Have the same problem with one of mine. Can NOT put it on its side. I tried Bruce's suggestion last night of pushing up on the battery connection more, but now i get dry hits, and smoke goes back into the tank and floats on the top of the juice. I think I will need to take it apart and try to reseat it again.

On the other tank, the whole top is rather loose. Even lightly moving or pulling on the drip will take the entire top Delrin structure out or spin in around. Would o-rings help with the second problem?

I think there is an o ring on the top but I would take out the inner ring and delryn piece then dry both with a paper towel and place back on and see if that helps.

Its leaking around the o-rings on the delrin caps.

Mine is too. Not alot, but I can't deal with anything coming out of my MAP Tank except vapor. I've tried to get BB to link me to the "O" rings and plugs. I'll buy the parts if I have too. I want to fix this thing. Seems to be getting progressively worse. I thought this was the answer to my E2 situation.

I was having the same trouble..including the whole thing just sliding off, but I took it apart including the o-rings and thoroughly cleaned and dried all the parts, then reassembled completely and filled with the syringe and it's working fine now. You may have some juice or something under the o-rings that's letting it slide and therefore leak...just a thought. I too am hoping that we can buy a baggie full of o-rings soon for these tanks!

I have an idea for the problem of it flooding and leaking when you lay it on it's side. Seems to me that the derlin end piece has too large a diameter hole in it. That silicone seal is supposed to fit the inside of the steal casing and the hole in the derlin cap is the same as the outside diameter of the steel casing.

What I plan on trying is to insert a longer steel tube and seat it flush with the bottom of the derlin cap so that the silicone seal at the top of the CE2 will have a tighter fit. Now since the tubing cutter causes the tubing to crimp inward a little, you would either have to use a dremel to grind it out a little or an easier way would be to just cut a really short piece of tube and shove it in from the bottom of the cap to make it meet the existing tube. The original tube only sticks in half way anyways, so it shouldn't be that big a deal just to shove a short piece in from the bottom.

Actually, I think it would be a better design to have the hole drilled out smaller and then counter sink the top half of the hole for the mouth piece tubing. I know the holes are drilled out the same for the top and bottom of the tank cause it's less time consuming during production. I'm just thinking about it as being a design flaw though. JMHO anyways!

Where can I get these O rings? My husband's has had problems since he got his, I think this may be the issue.
Juice is leaking..somewhere. Ok this is hard to explain, he says it's like it 'wicks too much', so that leads me to think it's the O ring issue. He can flick his wrist and juice flies out :O , in fact he has to before hitting or it's in his mouth.

I had mine for almost a week before I decided what juice I liked vaping the most. First 5 or 6 hits were AWESOME. Then I made the mistake of turning it upside down to see if it would leak on me. It didn't leak out the top. But what that did do was fill the tube so juice leaked out of the bottom battery connector portion and filled the juice cup of my provape. Glad it was on there instead of a Riva or Ego since the cup is larger on the provape. I guess mine will just have to stay in the upright position to avoid this. Can't wait for the "premade" replacement guts for these to come in. I want to try the other ohm ratings.
So far I LIKE IT ALOT!:vapor::2cool::vapor:

i had a problem with just a little juice getting in the tip tube. tried seating my ce2 over and over again. finally ended up putting the top solid ring back on from the original ce2, which the map tanks dont come with. problem solved. i think it was actually dripping back out the fill holes from the silicone gasket.

Thanks to luv2vape contacting me about selling my leaker that I posted about earlier. It got me to thinking. For one thing as I said in my other posts I neither blamed nor put any of this back on Bruce because he has always been a great guy and vendor. That's the part that didn't add up. Anyway as I said I have been talking on PMs with luv2vape about it and I started thinking about it again and after checking it I noticed it didn't have the top ring that other Metal and clear E2s have. It didn't have one when I got it but I thought (I wonder why) so I took one out of a clear one I have and put it in after filling it half way. I then turned it upside down trying to get a leak and WA LA no leak. I always liked the way it vaped and now without any leaks I'm a happy guy again. Thanks Bruce for everything and thank you too luv2vape.
I also have the slip apart thing but I just wired it together in a harness so it's not coming apart now.
