Legacy contact screw

I'm finding that if I do not raise this screw before threading on my tank, I am getting a delayed and/or weak fire.

Is there anything I can do to make it a bit more consistant?

Assuming we are talking about the adapter side of things ~ Add the small brass washer from your maintenance kit that came with the LEGACY and it will raise the screw just a tad so you can tighten it down. This will give you some extra length on that side to work with your tank
