Ok guys gals could one of you that has a kick in their wood show a pic of the inside.I'd love to see what had to be done in order to use the kick.Please pretty please.
Seams to me if it's not a tube mod you'd have to incorporate the ground wire to it somehow. Maybe jump it from the batt to it and on to the connector base. JMO
sounds like I could blow one of my wood babys and me up
Haven't found the pic's for wood yet, but this pic may give ya an idea of how it needs to be in a wood....notice added metal going from negative terminal up the right side.....

Great shot retird gave you. Chopper and others have done with copper for the Vmod...or just a wire.
On my shot, the Phidias, the Kick's ground spring rests on a little screw that is held down with a magnet. Works beautifully. (the screw is wired to the ground, of course)

I have a wood that has a strip up the side like that but its copper,do you think it would ground it?

So it looks like as long as the kick is touching the wire that goes to the neg spring it should work.Cool beanslooks easy enough.
if the copper connects to the negative of the battery, yes...copper is a better conductor than aluminum....
