First off its the 2.0 so much smaller than the regular vmod and I paid 100 for this months ago and it hasnt been used yet and my dna30 just started smoking and fried up. I actually want an istick but honestly this would be super close to the size and shape and I LOVE the feel of the vmod. I think it looks super cool with a tank and I double stack batteries for a 6v vape.

Okay, whatever works is best. Where are you in Michigan?

rzza -- either adapter should work fine for your purposes. The non-sealed would be useful if you ever did want to use the feeding aspect of the mod. And, as a reminder, the carto itself (just tape over the punched holes) would work fine by itself in the 2.0 and you could feed it with the vmod bottle. (or you could pick up some non-punched carto's).

There have been several US suppliers that have had them, I just don't recall who might have them available now. Look for adapters at places like Nhaler, Gotvapes, Madvapes, Avid vaper, or any "all purpose" vendor you might be familar with.

I agree that the iStick is a nice alternative --- it's almost as comfy as the 2.0 to hold :) and very similar size.

Bummer on your DNA mod.

Here's to some great vapes. :)

510 Battery Extension

It seems to me that this one might work for you.

I just don't know the exact length you would need. If it's a bit tall, the space could be filled in with orings, washers or bling.....but it can't be too short.

It's possible the shorter ones and super short ones could be stacked, too. I've used mods with two or 3 adapters stacked with no issue in the past.

Just make sure it's a 510 to 510. (There are plenty of adapters out there for older style threads to 510 and reverse.)

Hey I found a 510 to 510 that I had laying around it fits perfect but t doesnt fire. I put the same tank and adapter o nmy gripper mod ( some crappy smoktech mod) and it fires. I am guessing the pin is not reaching I clipped a piece of coil wire and put that down there but didnt work. Any ideas?

As you know, it most likely means that it's not making a connection. I've noticed with the vmod that often, especially when new, the atty/carto may need an additional 1/2 turn over usual "finger tight" feeling for it to connect. Turn that adapter 1/2 turn past where you feel you should stop and give it a go. It seems that the threads of the mod can need a bit of use to break in.

That's super that you found a longer connector in your supplies!

Thanks Kat -- I do believe that was a Mad Vapes link. I hadn't encountered their links not working. :?:

That E Bay place has some too, with various heights and the measurements mentioned.
