I hope some of the Army can chime in to help you, but have you checked out ECF's Modding Forum - Modding Forum, Schnarph? Hope maybe you'll find some answers there. Best to you on that idea!

I have spent many hours reading the Modding Forum, as well as many others. I spend 9 tenths of my time on the forums reading. I thought I would just throw that question to the Army, this being the hardware thread. I already have the tools and half the hardware, just need a few bucks of parts from MadVapes. No offense, I would love to own a Provari, but this seems to mostly be the Provari/RBA thread, which my wallet allows me little to no input on.:(

How about this - have any of you tried the mop head clearo now on sale at HHV? If so, are the heads interchangeable with regular Vivi-novas, or just the mop head version? I have never heard of a Vivi-nova 'mop head', specifically. Are the heads rebuildable, or just replaceable? Does it wick 100% VG as well as a Vivi-nova? I was thinking of getting one with my next juice order, a little input would be awesome.

We aren't all provari snobs and the ones that are had humble beginnings :)
We all use all sorts of stuff so that mop head answer will be here soon.
Did you get the v8 yet or are you gonna wait for the tmax. I couldn't find any anwers in the vvv thread.
I will say my cartos work perfect woth hhv 100VG so i imagine a mop head to also work well. Can't answer anything else

My understanding is the Vivi heads cannot be used on the mopheads. I've heard decent reviews of the mophead but I haven't used one myself. Rebuildable? I suspect they are but can't answer definitively.

MP is right. There are folks who use all sorts of PVs and Mods on here. I have a ProVari and a VAMO. Used to have a Lavatube and Twists and eGo's etc. Yes, I started from humble beginnings. Your questions are always welcome Schnarph. Don't need to be a Provari/RBA enthusiast. Lots of us use Novas, Kangers, tanks, cartos, drip attys, etc...

I didn't mean to come off like that. At 3 1/2 months in, I'm a vaping noob, and if I didn't have to fix the car and buy a new fridge and dryer this month, I would have a nice mod in my hands right now! It's mostly just jealousy speaking, and I apologize if I sounded accusatory.

I'm going to wait on the V8 and see what the reviews on the T-max are like. In the meantime, I'm looking into a PUCK type mod of sorts, as I own plenty of tools and most of the stuff I need to make one. All I need is a battery box, switch, and a 510 connection, I have lots of LED's and resistors. I'm a tinkerer, and can solder a broken foot back on a microchip. A mod should be a breeze.

Thanks for the info on the mopheads. The info on the mopheads on HHV's website is vague.

On another note more inline with the thread topic, I got my bullet piercing valve in the mail today! It makes perfectly sized holes with virtually no deformation. I can finally vape 100% VG in a cartotank! Those laser cut holes just weren't big enough. I know it's more of a tool than hardware, but without it some of my hardware was useless.

Schnarph: The mophead heads are NOT interchangeable with the Vivi Nova heads. The Vivi Nova heads are flat on the top and the little silicone cap sits on top of it. the mophead heads have a little metal nipple that sticks up through the silicone cap.

This is a mophead head:

My Provari button rattles a bit, but does not seem to affect anything.

It occurs to me that a lot of folks are having issues with the supposedly bulletproof expensive perfect, be-all-and-end-all Provari. Perhaps it is just a piece of hardware after all, and not some sort of angelic gift from the vaping gods.

Get a Vamo

Nothing man made is infallible.

I use both a Provari and a Vamo.
