My Provari works perfectly. And I love it.

A lot of people treat their Provari like it's something to be put under a glass dome for viewing. I think it's a tool, and I use mine. The little marks and scratches it gets don't bother me in the least. They are just character marks.

If it breaks, I'll send it to Provape to fix it. If I break it beyond repair, I'll buy another. No big deal.

This is one of the reasons that people make their own mods. Also why others go with purely mechanical mods. Even those have buttons and springs in the 510/atty connection. You would need Superman laser beams coming out of your eyes or 'The Force' to atomize fluid without a man made device. At that point you probably wouldn't be vaping e-liquid, though.

I didn't mean to come off like that. At 3 1/2 months in, I'm a vaping noob, and if I didn't have to fix the car and buy a new fridge and dryer this month, I would have a nice mod in my hands right now! It's mostly just jealousy speaking, and I apologize if I sounded accusatory.

I'm going to wait on the V8 and see what the reviews on the T-max are like. In the meantime, I'm looking into a PUCK type mod of sorts, as I own plenty of tools and most of the stuff I need to make one. All I need is a battery box, switch, and a 510 connection, I have lots of LED's and resistors. I'm a tinkerer, and can solder a broken foot back on a microchip. A mod should be a breeze.

Thanks for the info on the mopheads. The info on the mopheads on HHV's website is vague.

On another note more inline with the thread topic, I got my bullet piercing valve in the mail today! It makes perfectly sized holes with virtually no deformation. I can finally vape 100% VG in a cartotank! Those laser cut holes just weren't big enough. I know it's more of a tool than hardware, but without it some of my hardware was useless.

Don't worry, we only have one Provari snob in this forum and he's a chimp! But he's only snobbish to other Provari snobs. ;)

Never heard of a PUCK mod. From the looks of them on the site, they look easy enough to build.

As for Mop heads, I believe the atty's are not compatible with ViVi Nova atty's. The ones on HHV look like the Vision Stardust V3's - they work pretty good if you get the genuine V3. There are a lot of clones out there and the clones are a bunch of crap! They hold about 1.6 ml of juice and since the atty's are so similar to the Nova's I believe they'd be just as easy to rebuild, although I've never tried.

Hope that helps.

I used 510 stick batteries and CE2 clearos for the first 8 or 9 months of vaping, at which point I bought a cheap Lavatube. It was only at about the 15 month mark when I bought my Provari. And it hurt when I did, cause I'm a cheap bastich. :)

I remember the shock and awe on the thread when you announced you bought one!

I remember, I just started frequenting this thread when you first got it. Amazing, you don't come off as a snob at all. ;)

Started with KR808's in 2010. Stopped smoking and vaping in 2011. Started vaping again in February of this year with the "old" 808's. I then got really "taken-up" in this hardware business:)

I now have three (3) LavatubeII and two (2) Provaris:) I am presently using them with ViVi Novas. Plan on using RBA's next, I have two AGA-t2's on hand:p

24 hours in and the jury is still out for me. I've gone through about a tank and half. No leaks! It's a little inconsistent though. Hits well and the suddenly dry hit, then good agai for the next half hour.

Haven't rebuilt yet..

I got some rather epic vapemail today, the mod in this photo is an Atmomixani 69 Eric's Edition:

That drip tip is the most beautiful thing.. Well other then the photo itself :)

Dusty so far so good.. I had a off hit and lowered the voltage .1 If I have any other dry hits I'll see how it is with one less wick.
These are really for my juice delivery tomorrow but white lie needs to be tested and honestly so far I'm happy I bought so much at one time.

Looks like ECF is acting up today. I have seen many double posts today, but I have yet to make one.
Nice looking mod there Blix. As far as my desire to get a box mod like a V8, I almost want to get one just so I can take it apart and put the guts in a wooden box or SS tube myself. In that scenario, I should just make a VV PUCK and get that out of the way, I have plenty of AA Ni-MH batteries and a charger already. Many of you like your Vamo, is $60 a good price for the unit by itself? Any opinions on the Zmax flat head?
