Could it be the spring tension pushes everything up and tightening it all up?

I can't see how the fire button rattle is related to the battery spring. Anyway, Ida is firing consistently so far so early returns suggest GT's spring lifting has had an impact. More time will tell.

BooBoo still has a rattle on the button but no probs. the new one is getting a little more....loose... Not a lot though. Just like it is breaking in some.

Interesting. And GT says his fire button doesn't rattle. He's had his longer than mine and longer than Robin's new one (sorry forgot her name...Rocky?).

How'd you get three spare springs? I see I have a spring on the unextended cap that I don't use. I feel braver all of a sudden.

My regular cap has a spring, and they sent a spare spring with it. My extension cap has a spring and they sent a spare spring with it too. So I have 4 springs. I just assumed they send everyone spares.....

Rocky is my primary now. I thought about a mini but decided to go with the regular size. With the mini I would have bought the batteries and another extender cap etc.. Just to cover those possibilities. I even thought of getting a different color with the regular size but the then thought that I would buy the extender cap to match. Cheaper for me to get the same with the red LED and no extender cap. I could use the one I had.
