General, FYI.. Southern Gentleman does not play too nice in the KFL. Struggled through the tank thinking it was my wick/coil that was the issue. Loaded up with Yeateryear from NET.com and have been happily vaping away on the same wick/coil combo..

Hmmm. Do you have trouble with SG in any other device?

Have you tried Apache or any other MOV in your KFL?

What's the saying IA? "If it aint broke don't fix it" :)

Speaking of that, I have my SVD sitting here with a mini vivi nova atop filled with a beta juice Clay has me trying out. That vivi gurgles, belches, spits, oozes, and drips all over the place. I notice it more than ever. I've become so spoiled with this KFL. Still waiting for the first molecule of leakage. :)

If you ever drop it and throw the vacuum off that sucker will spill your whole tank through the airhole in record time. I managed to do that a few times. It doesn't take much to jump the threads with the plastic tank.

Oh, I know. Vivi is a fine device, but foolproof it is not. Seems they're always oozing from somewhere. :)

Well it just so happens I have a couple of killers. You need r/nr wire ...I actually purchased premade cups for mine and haven't tried to rebuild myself yet. When they work they are awesome...but they are finicky to get set up. I have good luck with them in my Zen 2 Carto tank... My best suggestion would be to check out some you tube videos. I would suggest when you are first working with them..keep them at home cause if they are going to leak it will be right after you get it set up.

Thanks IG! I have a whole bunch of ready wires that need to be put to use.

I've been using them for my euphoria clone on my sprite. I'm not a big fan of 14xxx mods so I rarely use it

I've been using these little AW 18490's in my SVD. I got a new cheapy charger with it too. A Trustfire TR-001. Took 5.5 hours to charge one 18490. Seems a little longish. Rated at 500mah output.

18490 bats should be charged at 1000mAh. That's why it took so long. The only common batteries which should be charged at 500mAh are 18350 and 14500. Don't skimp on having a good charger with active over charge protection and multiple output levels.

I've tried Apache once in the KFL. Coil needed de-gunking (I changed it) the next day. Could have been the coil I had on at the time. It could have been wrapped on too tight. I'll keep experimenting and apply the "Less is more" formula to see if works better.

I had one of the TR-001. Took forever to charge anything. It lasted only 5 months. I replaced it with the XTAR WP2 charger and was amazed at how fast it charges. My ex was complaining the other day about long charging times. I asked him the type charger he had...yep...TR-001. I need to get a backup charger...I only have that one.

I came across a review that I thought those who have the Kayfun would like. Don't reach for your credit card because I'm not sure you can get one. You may want to have a drool rag near by. A mech known as The SHIELD by Needleworks.

Whoa, that is one SWEET mod! At about $178 US, I won't be ordering one any time soon.
