(coming back up to speed on the thread)

28 vs 32... I typically run microcoils in my stuff, and a 10 wrap (~1.2 ohm) with 28 gauge is some durable stuff. That wire is (relatively) thick and holds up for a long, long time through dozens of cleanings and dry burnings.. pulling puffy, saturated wicks, you name it. The 32 was a little more finicky when it came to micros and the couple I made were a little on the fragile side; I had one pull apart when I removed the cotton (which, consequently, became my last 32g microcoil). Being thicker and lower resistance than 32, 28 takes a little longer to get going, but the bigger coil does do a great job in pumping out vapor.

But the real limiting factor is my gear. I like to vape 10-12w in my RDAs and I have a Vamo V3 and a K100 mech. I know, after spending a little bit with a MM and testing things out, that on a single battery, my Vamo tops out at about 4.5v.. it just can't boost the voltage past that. So that means that if I want to get to 12w, I really can't go much above 1.6ohms... which you really can't do with a 32g coil as you would have a really tiny, extremely hot coil that would burn as much as vaporize. And on the mech, you are looking at 8w max if you have a 32g coil (I'll spare you the numbers). Combine that with my belief that the more wraps the better.... the low resistance of the 28g makes it a perfect choice for what I have.

KFC air flow.... To me, even with the air screw removed completely, it's a tighter than I'd like. My trident clone (at the 2mm hole) and the nimbus (dual coil, with drilled out holes) are much more airy...a I've grown to prefer the airy draw. I have a single coil IGO-L that is at 1.5mm, and it'll be getting bored out in the next day or two... I just started using it again and it's a bit too tight, even at 1.5mm.

Do you "mouth hit" or "lung hit" Leo? I've found most lung hitters find the draw on the KFL to be restrictive whereas mouth hitters like me seem to find the draw to be sufficient.

God I hate fasttech. I still haven't received my KFLClone. Ordered 12/14, apparently hit the US on Christmas Day (it won't say where), still not here. Them and Singapore Post are terrible. I know I saved a ton of money, but I'm angry now. I feel like I don't even want to both with the stupid thing at this point.

All things considered, your order hit the US in 8 business days. Since then it's in USPS' hand, and Sing Post or FastTech have nothing to do with it. A little mis-directed anger methinks..

Well, Dusty is mostly right IMHO. SlowTech gets the order out quick enough to be sure and the mail system is the one who drags their feet getting it delivered. However, SlowTech owns the business model. It appears FT does not stock any of these e-cig devices and they ship direct from the manufacturers in China. This saves money but also adds lots of shipping time. One has to ask, is the longer, inconsistent waits and delays worth the savings? To each their own. Add that I'm suspicious of their quality of products and I tend to prefer ordering my stuff from domestic suppliers or reputable overseas vendors even if it adds 30% to the price + shipping. That's just me.

BTW, I returned my defective SVD to SlowTech for an exchange. I mailed it on Dec. 21, 2013. Still have not heard a peep. But then I didn't expect to. I figger it will take them a millennium to actually ship the return item and then add another millennium due to whatever the latest Chinese holiday is. Then add another millennium for the mail system to deliver it. That's why I include the year information on my dates.

Good point.... I 'lung hit'.... I used to suck and puff, but when I got my RSST, I switched over since I had the draw on that thing so loose. And I've gotten accustomed to it. Now even the IGO, which back then seemed pretty airy, now seems a little too tight. I've gotten so used to the vapor trains that are my RDAs that I want everything to just unload vapor.

I actually did started puffing away on the KFC and found things a little more comfy. My only issue now is that the KFC got about as good mileage as the 78 Lincoln Conti my father once owned. Man, that thing guzzled juice. So it's up on blocks until I put another HHV order in.

Neo check USPS tracking SG post tracking doesn't work too well once the item leaves SG , USPS tracking shows where your item is in US , you need to follow up on this with the USPS it's in their hands , you need to see if they lost it and let FT know you haven't received it .

Honestly retic, I take Slim's approach. I don't really care. When it happens it happens. If I were in Neo's position (wanting to try my first KFC or something) then I'd probably be more jacked up. I fully expected at least a two month wait so I'm good. If it goes beyond then I'll start rattling some cages.

Hmm. Isn't it the Year of the Snail or something?
